Alina woke up and whimpered as her body ached.
"What's wrong Beautiful?" Marc asked groggily as he woke up to her moving.
"Hurt," she admitted.
"Were we too rough?" Owen asked as he woke to Marc talking.
"No," she whispered, "just sore."
"After breakfast I'll get you some medicine," Sean yawned.
"Absolutely nothing but relaxation today Darling," Owen said as he picked up Marc's shirt and gently slipped it over her head. "Your body has to get use to us."
"Okay," she murmured.
Owen looked at Marc, "I have to admit, I was expecting a bit of a protest Alina."
"Too sore yet comfy," she murmured. "No move. Protest later."
"Come on Beautiful, let's go upstairs and get some breakfast," Marc chuckled as he kissed the top of her head while running his fingers up and down her back. "I'll carry you."
"Kay," she slowly raised her arms and Marc frowned seeing red marks around her wrists.
"Alina," he gently kissed the marks, "ties should not have done this. Why didn't you tell us they were too tight for you?"
"They weren't," she replied. "Felt good at the time."
"Okay well, we will be more careful from now on since we now know your skin is a little more sensitive than we thought," Owen said as he took the container from Sean and started rubbing some ointment on her wrists then did the same on her ankles.
She watched him and smiled gratefully, "Thank you."
He leaned over and kissed her forehead, "You're welcome, Darling."
"Here are some clothes, Little One is home," Gabe said as he came into the room. "Morning," he went around and kissed everyone softly. "Oy, what the fuck is wrong?"
"Gabriel, please have Axel and Kota make sure everyone is home today for a family day," Owen said as he went through the clothes. "And Darling will need something softer for her skin, it is extra sensitive today."
"Those ties are the softest ones you fucking have," Gabe said in confusion.
"And her body is still adjusting plus healing, don't forget that" Sean yawned.
"Ow!" She gasped as she went to grab the water bottle from Marc. "Sorry, my hand."
"Yep, your muscles are tense," Sean said as he looked over her hand. "You did too much last night."
"You are going to have to let go of some of that independence today and let us take care of you, Alina," Marc said as he gently wiped a tear from her cheek.
She sniffled and nodded, "Okay."
"I know it's hard but thank you," Marc whispered.
"I'll be right back, I have the perfect fucking thing," Gabe nodded as he rushed out of the room. He came back a couple of minutes later with a softer pair of sweatpants and slipped them on once Marc helped her turn around so her back was to him. "I figured you wanted to keep wearing Marc's shirt, so I didn't bring you another one."
"Thank you," she whispered as Marc turned her so he could carry her bridal style. Marc sat down at the dining room table and North placed a plate in front of him.
"Put this on for now, Pookie," Sean said slipping a compression glove over her hand. "After breakfast if it is still bothering you, I want to take you to my office and see about getting you a soft cast."
"Okay," she murmured as she laid her head against Marc's chest.
"Mommy okay?" Melisma asked as she came into the room holding Victor's hand.
"Her hand is hurting her right now since she got the cast off," Victor explained, "it kept her up all night so she is very tired. We are going to stay home and have a nice relaxing family day, how does that sound, Little One?"
"I help taked care of Mommy?" she asked hopefully.
"Da," Raven nodded as he picked her up and sat her in a chair. "We all care for Mommy."
Just then the front door opened, and the men looked at one another. Everyone was at the table so who was here at the house?
"Father?" Raven asked shocked as Nikolai Ravenstahl strolled into the room casually with his right-hand man Alexei behind him. "What doing here?"
"Need speak with you person," he said in such a tone that everyone could tell it was serious. "Little One nyet hear this."
"Melisma, why don't we call Nana and Auntie Jess and see if they will take you to get some things to help care for Mommy and have family day?" Victor asked as he picked her up from her chair. "You can see Dedushka when you get back from shopping."
"Okay," she said not really liking how serious everyone was.
"Daughter," Nikolai said looking at Alina.
"Papa," she whimpered and held her arms out. He instantly helped her stand and hugged her gently. "Where's Momma?"
"I here," Nikita smiled as she came into the room. "Look at you, skin bone, Sons not feeding you?"
"Mother," Raven sighed as Nikita pulled a bottle of Vodka out of her purse. "Kitten nyet drink now on medicine, nyet feel good now."
"Pssh," Nikita waved her hand in the air, "this help, drink."
"I will later," Alina smiled softly as she took the bottle and sat it on the table. "Thank you, Mother." She forced back a smile when she saw North pick up the bottle and put it away out of reach.
"How healing Daughter?" Nikolai asked as he sat at the table. "Sons say in hospital long."
"I'm better," she smiled softly.
"We almost lost her a couple of times," Marc answered honestly.
"That serious?" Nikita asked shocked while Nikolai turned to look at Raven. She started yelling at Raven and slapping his shoulder making Alina giggle as he just took it.
"Done?" Raven asked when she stopped to catch her breath. "I make suffer long before—"
"Where's my shopping partner?" Erica asked as she came into the room. "Oh Nikola, Nikita, I didn't know you were here."
"Neither did we," Axel explained, "they decided to surprise us."
"Well, we must catch up when we get back from shopping," Erica smiled. "Are you ready to go?"
Melisma nodded and Nikola nodded, "Da." Once the door shut he turned serious again. "We need talk."
