Chapter one- complete opposites

Hi. I'm Wintersmyth. I know you probably have never heard of me. That's because I haven't been publicized yet. However, you may know my mother, fireball. Yeah, THE Fireball. Mass super villain of Swellview. Former superhero gone bad. Wanted by pretty much the whole country. Ringing any bells? Well anyways, I'm her daughter. She wanted to hide me until my training was complete so no one would try to find me and take me away. And since I have ice powers they would probably lock me away for experiments. I was born with my power, unlike my mother. She was paid by scientists to do experiments for medicine. One went wrong and bam! My mother. At first she did good things with her powers. Until one day she went bad. She wouldn't tell me why. So now she trains me in fighting and how to control my powers. I've never left the lair. I've never seen the outside world. I'm always curious though. What normal kids are like. I long to sit on the slide and yell "up the slide!" And be lifted to the surface. But that all changes today. Today fireball says I'm ready to go on a crime spree. I'm so excited! She said she had a surprise for me so she's in the tech room. I was shaking with excitement. The door opened and fireball walked in. "Okay this is something I've been working on for a while. And by "I" I mean some tech whiz I kidnapped!" We laughed. She pulled out a little metal thing that looked like a key chain flashlight. "Do you know what this is?" She asked. "Yeah it's your costume key. It's what lets you put on your villain costume so easily." She nodded. "Right but wrong. Yes it's a costume key, but it's not mine. It's yours." She handed it to me. "My own costume key?!" I said excitedly. "Yes. Your ready. Now try it out!" I put it to my neck and pressed the button. I felt a wave come over me and suddenly I wasn't wearing my clothes any more. Now I was wearing a purple suit with black down the sides. It had a black belt in the middle and black leather jacket sewn on with black boots. I was wearing a black wig to cover up my brown hair and black contacts to cover up my brown eyes and a really cool black mask. "This is awesome!" I said. "Well you can't just commit some crime without a cover!" She did the same thing and in a flash she was in her costume. She has fire powers so her costume is orange and yellow. "Oh one other thing!" She handed me a ring with three gems. "Press the one in the middle to contact me. Press the one on the left to zap someone. And press the one on the right to deploy knock out gas." I put it on and smiled evilly. "So what are we doing today?" I asked. "Today we are robbing the Swellview bank. Nice and easy for tif first task." "Let's do it!" I said. We went over to the slide. "Up the slide!" I called and we went flying.

A/N hey guys! Hope you enjoyed the first chapter! Hopefully many more to come! If you read one of my other books I said how some chapters are associated with certain memories that happened while I was writing. Well I will never forget this one. I had just started this book in the car when we go to the mall. My mom and sister and I started towards the doors when this truck came flying down the parking lot going fifty to sixty miles an hour. We had to jump out of the way so we wouldn't get hit and luckily no one else was hit. But the real scary part was that the driver then jumped out of the truck and ran to the car in front of it and started beating the guy in the car and yelling. I was so scared that the guy had a gun but luckily he didn't. Then a worker at the restaurant we were in front of comes out and starts yelling at the truck driver "I called the cops you better get out of here! You won't be doing this in front of my restaurant!" Then the truck driver runs back to the truck and his buddy gets out of the car and the minute he does the driver takes off. The guy who got out walked right by me and looked at me and I was so terrified. I live in a pretty friendly community so I've never seen anything like this before. That's probably why I was so scared. And the whole time I was trying to get my mom inside but she kept trying to get the plates of the cars. I hope I never have to see anything like that again. And I also hope they catch that guy in the truck. So yeah, I'll be having nightmares for the next week. I'll update soon! Love y'all!😘💜
