Chapter 24- More complicated

Henry's pov
We got to the factory. "Okay look for anywhere with limited access that's where she'll be." Captain man said. We looked and found an old storage warehouse with only one door. It was locked but captain man kicked it down and we ran in. The room was empty except for a glass box in the center with winter passed out in it. I ran to her. I tried to break the glass but it must have been bulletproof. Then I took out my laser pointer with actual lasers and made a circle which fell out. I shook winters shoulder. "Winter? Winter wake up! Winter!" She started to stir. She sat up blinking. "Henry? Henry you found me!" She said excitedly and hugged me. "What did they do to you?" Captain man asked. "Nothing! Thanks to you guys finding me in time!" She said smiling. "Let's get out of here!" I said helping her out of the box. I started walking towards the door. "Henry wait!" Ray said and I turned around. "What?" He shook his head. "They did something to her. This was too easy an escape they wouldn't have left her here unless they wanted us to find her." He said pointing his weapon at her. "What are you talking about I'm fine!" She said scared. "Ray she's fine we saved her!" "I'm telling you Henry they did something to her!" He said readying to fire. "I'm fine! Henry what is e talking about don't let him hurt me!" She said scared. "Captain man don't shoot her! She's fine let's go before they come back!" He lowered his weapon. "Fine. Let's go." He started to walk with me. Then we heard dark laughter behind us. We slowly turned around. "You should have shot me when you had the chance!" Winter laughed. "I knew it! They did something to you!" She smiled. "They only helped me realize my full potential. This city doesn't deserve saving. So now it will be mine and my family's!" She laughed. "We still can shoot you!" Ray and I raised out weapons. "Oh please. We both know you won't use those on me! After all, I'm Henry's soulmate and practically a daughter to Ray. You couldn't kill me even if you wanted to." We both hesitated. Neither of us could do it. "Thought not. My turn!" Suddenly our weapons flew out of our hands and into hers. "How did you do that?!" I said surprised. "Let's just say I got the free upgrade!" She said. Then lightning bolts flew from her fingertips and hit captain man sending him flying back and hitting the wall. "I'm okay! I'm just gonna stay down here for a while." He groaned. "And then there was one." She said smiling. Then she looked at me. "Want to take a shot?" I shook my head. "This isn't you winter! Your better then this! Your my best friend! I need you!" She scoffed. "Oh really? You didn't seem to need me when you were running around with that spray painting skank!" "I didn't mean that and I'm sorry!" She was angry now. "Sorry?! Are you also sorry you tried to turn in my mother and father?! ARE YIU SORRY YOU TRIED TO KILL ME?!" She screamed and the lights exploded. "What?! I never did that!" The ground started to shake.

Winters pov
"Don't play dumb with me! You remember just as well how you always made sure I was miserable when you held me captive in your stupid cave! YOU DESTROYED MY LIFE AND NOW YOUR GOING TO PAY FOR IT!!" I let my powers take over. The ground shook and the room turned ice cold. Lights flashed and exploded and things flew everywhere. I could see the fear in his eyes and I loved it. "YOU ARE GOING TO FEEL EVERY BIT OF PAIN YOU PUT ME THROUGH! YOU TRIED TO TAKE AWAY THE ONES I LOVE SO IM GOING TO KILL EVERYONE YOU LOVE ONE BY ONE! STARTING WITH YOU!" Lighting bolts rained down on him until I was sure he was dead. Everything came to an abrupt halt. He wasn't moving. I walked out the door. When I got outside I looked back on the building. I used my mind to lock the doors before lighting struck all sides of the building causing it to erupt in flames. "And then there were none." I laughed before walking away.
