Chapter 11- dates and ditching

Henry's pov
The next day I decided to go over to Junk'N'Stuff to walk winter to school. I got down there and went in. Winter came in wearing a purple outfit as usual. "Hey!" She said cheerfully. "Hey. Ready for school?" I asked. "Now that I can actually be in school without having to track people down. Yeah!" She said excitedly which made me laugh. "Let's get going." I said and we left. We walked to school holding hands, but the minute we got up to the door she let go. We went in and everyone started looking at us. Why are they looking at us. One of the most gossipy girls in school ran up to us. "Are you guys like, a thing?!" She asked. "No!" "Yes!" I said yes she said no but at the same time. "Yes!" "No!" We said in reverse. She looked confused but walked away. "Are we going to tell people?" Winter asked. "Well yeah! Why did you say no?" She looked around. "I didn't want to ruin your reputation." I almost laughed. "What reputation?" I asked which made us both laugh. "Touché." She said. "Well then I guess there's no reason not to tell people!" She said and i smiled. I stepped up onto a bench and started shouting. "Attention everyone! Winter and I are now a thing! So no one even think about flirting with her! I mean it I don't want to see any suspicious activity! So help me I will-" She pulled me down. I had been laughing the whole time so clearly i was just joking. "Okay okay they get it!" She said laughing. "Just lookin out for ya." I smirked. Charlotte and Jasper came running up. "So you guys are dating now?!" Jasper said excitedly. "Yeah." We both said. "So you like, kiss and stuff?!" He asked. "Yeah." We said again. "Can I see?" He said a little bit creepily. I shrugged and started to lean in. Then a news paper flew between us hitting both of us in the face. "No PDA in the hallways!" Ms. Shapen screeched and stormed away. "I've never heard that rule." Charlotte said. "She's probably just jealous that she can't get a date." I said and we all laughed. Soon the bell rang and we went to class.

Winters pov
At lunch we headed to the cafeteria. People came up to us and congratulated us. "They're acting like we're married!" I joked. We sat at a table and started eating. Soon a girl came over. "Meet henry!" She said and smiled. He smiled back. "Oh hey Bianca!" He said friendly. She sat down next to him. I felt something. A strange kind of anger I think. "Congratulations! Your a lucky girl winter." She said. "I know." I said. "I remember when we were dating." She said. They started talking about memories they had together. A conversation I wasn't really interested in hearing. "I'm going to go get some water." I said even though they were lost in their own conversation. I got up and went to the water fountain. "Is that Bianca talking I henry?" Charlotte asked behind me. "Yeah. Why?" I said. "Oh nothing. It's just, aren't you worried?" I gave her a look of confusion. "Worried? Why would I be worried?" I asked already getting nervous. "Well Bianca is really pretty and he already dated her. Wouldn't you be worried that she would try to move in on him again?" "I'm sure they're just friends." I said. I looked over and they hugged. Charlotte saw it too. "Yeah. They're gettin real friendly." I hate it how she always has that sass when she's right. "Oh my god. Shes going to try and steal him!" I started panicking. "Well then get back in there!" She said. I rushed back over there and sat right in between them. "How are things over here?!" I smiled brightly. "Things were going fine." Bianca said more to herself than to me. "We were just talking about this time we were in chemistry and were partners and accidentally blew up our experiment!" Henry started laughing. I pretended to laugh too. "And remember that time in PE I accidentally hit you in the face with a basketball and almost knocked you out?!" They continued laughing. "Hey henry remember the time that we... Uh." At that moment I realized that we had done nothing together! And if we don't make some great memories fast Bianca is going to whisk him away! An image of Bianca carrying henry out the door while I stood with Charlotte popped into my head and Charlotte started repeating over and over again. "I told you so! I told you you should be jealous!" I quickly snapped out of it. "You want to do something after school henry?" Bianca asked. I wanted to freeze her from the inside and smash her! "Sorry he has plans!" I said before he could reply. Then I grabbed his arm. "Well we gotta go! Nice meeting you!" I dragged him out of the cafeteria and into the hallway. He got free of my grip. "What was that?! And geez your hands are cold!" He said very annoyed. "Well that's because I have ice powers!" I said back. "What is your problem?" He asked. "Okay fine. When you and Bianca were talking about all the fun things you did together it made me realize that we haven't even been in a date." At first he stayed defensive, the he realized that I was right. He came over and kissed me. "Well then maybe we should fix that. Have you ever been roller skating?" I shook me head. "I was barely let out of the basement a few weeks ago. There's a lot of things I haven't done." He smiled. "Yet. There's a lot of things you haven't done yet." I smiled back. "Then it's a date! Tonight at 6:00?" He nodded then we went to our next class.
