Chapter 7- Friends again?

Henry's pov
After I went home that night I didn't sleep. I couldn't stop thinking about what I did to winter. I did blow her off a lot. And I never gave a good excuse and every time I tried to make it up to her I just made it worse. But didn't Wintersmyth say she got blown off just like winter did? It has to be a coincidence. I'm going to make it up to winter. This time I'm going to fix this. I got out of bed and started planning.

Winters pov
I got to school that morning and went straight to my locker. I was trying hard not to see anyone because everyone saw what happens between me and henry. Charlotte walked up to me. DANG IT! "Hey winter! I wanted to tell you that I didn't know henry had plans with you and if I knew I would t have invited him to go bowling with us." She said. "I'm not mad at you. Even when you invited henry he decided to blow me off. That's on him not you." She still wasn't satisfied. "He just forgot." She made excuses for him. "Yeah he probably 'just forgot' three times." I said coldly. "Come on." "No! Clearly he made his point and he doesn't want to be my friend and I don't need him! I probably don't have much longer here anyways. So I'm fine without friends. I'm fine." I walked away. I meant it. I don't need anyone. And I don't have much longer anyways. Sooner or later fireball will realize that I'm not looking that hard for kid danger and she'll pull me out. I started to head to my first class. "Winter wait up! Come on winter wait!" Henry ran up to me. I kept walking. "Apparently you don't know the meaning of 'stay away from me,' so I'll make it clear. You turn opposite me, and start walking. Keep walking until you get back here or fall off a cliff. Whichever comes first!" I started to walk away. "Well that was harsh!" He said and continued to follow me. "Well I have anger issues! And if you can't handle that then we definitely shouldn't hang out." Some people started calling him over. "You should go. I hear more important people calling you." I said and left him standing there. I was early for my next class so I just sat there. But as I sat there I started to wonder. What was the emergency he ditched me for in science class? It was only a little while before I had to leave. Was it because he was going to stop a train? All those little suspicions I had about him before came back to me. It was all adding up. Could henry be kid danger? Wait. If he is kid danger, that means the whole time I was so upset and talking to kid danger I was talking to henry! I'm gonna kill him! But he's probably not kid danger. He would have told me because he doesn't suspect me. Does he?

Henry's pov
Well that didn't go well. I tried to talk to her but she's still mad. She has a to be. I walked up to Charlotte before my first class. "HENRY LEE HART YOU ARE AN IDIOT!" Charlotte fumed. "I know! But winter seems really cool and I had to leave her the first two times because of work and the third time I just forgot. I feel really bad." "Not as bad as you made winter feel! She already doesn't have any friends here and now you made her not want any! You better make it up to her!" She said angrily. "I will! Just bring her to the cafeteria at lunch. I have a plan." She looked confused but nodded. Something has been bothering me about winter. She is upset because I blew her off. But last night Wintersmyth was upset because someone blew her off. All those little things I noticed about winter before came back to me. Is it possible that winter is Wintersmyth? I can't be sure. I just hope she doesn't suspect me. But that's not the problem right now. Right now I just have to carry out my plan.

Winters pov
In the class before lunch henry asked miss. Shapen if he could leave early. She frowned and said. "Yeah sure. Just leave me, like every man does." I get the feeling she's the kind of person who has lots of cats. He never came back. Not that I care. Right after class Charlotte ran up to me. "Hey! Let's go get lunch!" Charlotte said excitedly. "Actually I was just going to go to the library-" I started. "Well now your coming to lunch with me!" She grabbed my arm. I dropped my stuff in my locker then she continued to drag me to the cafeteria. "Okay I'm here! What was so important?" I asked. Then I heard music. I looked up and saw henry playing guitar.

He finished the song and everyone clapped. He came over to me. "Winter I'm really sorry for leaving you. That's not what friends do. But I promise from now on you can count on me like 1,2,3. And if you don't forgive me now that's fine because I won't give up until you do." I had already forgiven him. "Are you always this stubborn?" He nodded. "Then fine. I forgive you we are friends again!" I said. "Yes!" He said and hugged me. His voice! It sounded like kid danger's when he sang to me! Whatever I don't want to think about it now. "Alright now we eat! Lunch is on me!" He said. We got in line and for the first time I noticed something that I was too upset to notice before. Henry had a bruise on his forehead. Just like the one on kid dangers head.
