CALVIN'S POV
I sat nervously tapping my foot on the floor, waiting for Taylor to come out the door as usual radiating in beauty, those glowing blue eyes that get me every time, I stumble over the past few days in such a short time span, it escalated into me being here taking my best friend to the Grammys, whom I had developed particular feelings for, it all seems a little overwhelming but I know I wouldn't want be here with anyone else, gosh don't mess this up Calvin.
She walked out in this stunning floor-length dress that was shades of teal, and topped off with pink heels, her hair was straightened and bangs swopped off to the side. I walked to her with a jump in my step and hugged her, taking in her scent as if this were the last time I was seeing her.
Her hugs are not the type of hugs girls normally give me, her hugs are warm and long and comfortable no where near in comparison to the cold, short, hard embraces I got from other girls.
Calvin: Ready to go?
Taylor: Ready if you are!
Her eyes twinkled. I walked her down the stairs and into the lobby the flashes of paparazzi blinded me, as we stepped outside the door, I feel her grip tighten and a look of discomfort splashes all over her face she has both hands around my arm as if someone's going to pull her away from me. I won't let that happen.
Calvin: Don't listen to them.
I said, once we were inside the car and she looked shattered. She forced a smile on her face but didn't look at me, just staring blankly outside through the window. I wanted so bad to see her blue eyes shine.
Taylor: Adam, what if they hate me.
I shoot my head around to Taylor,
Calvin: Who?
Taylor: Your fans.
she said, her voice tumbled out with trembles. She sounded so....hurt.
Calvin: They won't, trust me.
Taylor: But what if they do, I could barely handle the bucket load of hate that ended Harry and I.......Adam, I'm not ready to see this go up in flames, I don't think I'll ever be.
Her voice spilled out with vulnerability, it hurt me to see her like this, so naturally I opened my arms and pulled her close to me, her hands rested on my chest and her head on my shoulder...when she is in my arms I have better hope of cheering her up, but also giving her the support she longs for, something she no longer got when Harry wasn't around and she was all by her self...until I came back.
Calvin: Tay, if they see that I'm happy and in love, then the'll be absolutely ecstatic.
She inhaled a big breath and closed her eyes. I just stare intently at her, admiring her beautiful face, beneath her perfect features lies a clearly visible evidence of confusion, hurt, venerability. but most of all; a broken heart. You can see it in the way she hesitates when you look her in the eye, how she constantly insists on standing staying strong every second of the day, she convinces her self she is okay, but obviously she's still torn, she forces herself to move on so quickly because the pain is too overwhelming, what she doesn't realise is that there are people around her, who care about her, that can and will help her through anything.
