(A/N Hey Guys! I gave you an update because I am not capable of waiting till Friday, I'm too excited, and also because it's TALVIN'S ANNIVERSARY!!!!! They met at the Brits on 25.02.15. Guys. I.can't.belive.it.  )

FLASHBACK- TAYLOR

I looked over at my best friend the wind was blowing in our faces. We ran across a field a few blocks behind our houses. He had a wide smile painted on his face. The sun shined on our skin as we headed towards the centre. The centre was where we'd gathered a bunch of wood planks and built a fort- sort of. To an adult it seemed like an failed attempt at a cubby house, but to us it was our kingdom where Adam was the king and I was the queen.

"I see it, straight ahead."

I say against the wind. Adam looks over at me with a smile; "I know Taylor."

We approached our destination quite quickly considering Adam and I were the fastest runners in the school. We used our talents outside of school in a much different world than your average classroom. When we reached our kingdom, Adam stopped and placed his hands on his knees to catch his breath. Whilst I saw that our kingdom was being attacked by evil unicorns. I looked around for a better advantage point and spotted a tree that couch reach the sky.

"Come on King Adam, we're being attacked, you can rest up in that tree!"

I say and pointed to the tree and started running towards it. I heard Adam's feet rustling in the grass. I gazed up at the gigantic tree and place my foot on a stump on the tree and begun to climb it. Adam's voice behind me called out

Adam: Taylor, I don't think we should climb it.

I look back at my best friend by eyebrows formed a frown as I struggled to understand what he was trying to insinuate. His eyes looked up at the tree's top. I suddenly realise why he doesn't want to climb the tree.

Taylor: You're not going to let a little fear of heights get the best of you, Adam.

I say and return my gaze back to the tree and climb a few steps further when I looked back at him he was still on the ground. He shook he's head and stepped back slightly putting about five feet between him and the tree.

Adam: I'm not afraid of heights...I'm afraid of falling.

I inhaled a deep breath my face loosening as looked at my hand clenching the stump that I was using to keep me up. I let go and jumped down landing on my feet.

I took his hand and looked into his eyes. He was King, he was brave and he could conquer anything but that list stops at fears. He didn't want to face his fears, neither did I, but we have to.

"Listen to me, it's you and me against the world, remember? If you fall, I fall too. If you save me, I'll save you too...okay?"

We climbed the tree that day and many others. Adam's fear of falling begun to decrease with every mountain we trekked. We never broke our promise, it was us against the world and always will be. The difference between heights and falling is this; Adam could climb a tree with his eyes closed and he would be okay with it, it's when he opens his eyes that the fears start clouding in.

END OF FLASHBACK

It's been a long time since I've dreamed of Adam and I as kids. Maybe I miss my king. I miss our adventures. I miss his green eyes looking into mine. I miss everything about him. My eyes stay open as I lay there staring at the ceiling. It's some late hour in the night, possibly. I hear my phone ring off telling me I have a text. My eyes struggle at first with the bright screen but soon adjust.
