Minerva and I decided to ride the train to Hogwarts. We found a cart and settled ourselves inside of it. Looking over, I noticed a man leaned against the window with a jacket over his head. Minerva was also staring at him curiously. "Is he sleeping?" She shrugged and tapped his shoulder lightly. He jumped and Minerva and I both giggled. I trusted her fully now, she was like a friend to me.

"Don't you see a man trying to sleep here?" The man lifted his head up and I noticed it was Remus Lupin. "LUPIN!" He smiled at me and rolled his eyes. I jumped over at him and hugged him tightly. He raised his eyebrow, staring back at me. "What's gotten into you?" I giggled and sat back in my seat. He looked over at Minerva who looked back at him. She winked and whispered, "Love". He stared back at us like we were crazy people and shook his head, smiling.

We talked for about 2 hours, about anything and everything we could think of. Minerva shared stories of Dumbledore and the other teachers, while Remus and I laughed in response. We had a great time. We also ate almost every type of candy on the trolley, as the witch wasn't here. Minerva eventually replaced it all with magic, she wasn't THAT evil.

We made our way back to Hogwarts. Stopping by Albus' office before anything else. He greeted us kindly, happy to see me again. I smiled at him and gave him an unexpected hug, as well as Minerva. She walked with me to my dorm and I placed my stuff back on my bed. I noticed Draco was in the common room and snuck behind him quietly, I jumped up and yelled: "BOO!" He jumped and held his chest, gasping for air. "Y/N! You're such a bitch." I laughed and hugged him, which he gratefully returned. "I'm so glad you're back, it was incredibly lonely without you at lunch." I smiled at him, hugging him again. I missed him too. I told him I needed to do other things quickly and he said goodbye.

I left the Slytherin Common Room and met up with Minerva who was waiting outside. We walked down to the Ravenclaw Common Room next, I knocked on the door, seeing Luna and Amelia come out. They both jumped at me and hugged me tightly. "Well, hello to you too." They smiled at me and Amelia playfully punched my shoulder. "Ouch!" I grinned and she rolled her eyes. "Loser." I glared at her and turned to Luna, smiling at her and greeting her as well.

Minerva and I then left alone to go to the dungeons. I had one last plan to carry out before I could fully commit back to Hogwarts. We walked to his classroom and I released a sharp breath, not fully knowing if I was ready for this. Minerva took the chance to knock for me and I glared at her, which she laughed in reply. Moments later I heard the door open and I hid behind Minerva, not wanting him to see me, yet. I had the book in my arms, waiting to give it to him.

"Oh, good morning, Minerva." He sounded deeper than usual. It scared me. I didn't know what was wrong with him, but I knew it wasn't good. I felt Minerva take a sharp breath and she went to speak again, allowing me to hide behind her, out of sight from her long flowy robes. "Severus. You're not looking well... are you alright?" I felt my heart drop. I hoped this wasn't due to me, but I had the biggest feeling that it was. What if my dream came true and he was fired... because of my problems?

"I'm afraid now just isn't the time, Minerva. Perhaps you can come back this evening. When I've had time to rest properly."

She sighed lightly, nodding along with his suggestion. "Alright. Take care of yourself. You have already skipped all of your classes this week, you cannot afford to do it any longer."

I raised my eyebrows. He skipped his classes? But why? Is he unwell?

I heard the heavy door shut slowly, hearing the click of a lock on the other side. I stepped out from behind Minerva and stared at the door silently. I frowned and began to walk away from the door. Minerva caught up to me and walked next to me. "Don't worry. I'm sure he just needs some sleep." I nodded, hopeful that was all it was. I walked with her to her classroom and we hung out in there for a while.

It was now lunch time, I didn't plan on going, as I didn't want Severus to see me, yet. However, Minerva assured me that after he talked to her, he wouldn't be attending lunch.

We walked through the hallway together. I walked rather quickly to catch up with Minerva. When she was in teacher mode, she walked FAST.

We made it to the Great Hall and when we entered I was out of breath from taking such large steps. She looked over at me, smirking. "Sorry, Y/N. I'm afraid you're just too old to keep up with me." I rolled my eyes, smiling. She walked to the staff table and I walked to the Slytherin table, sitting next to Draco.

Amelia and Luna sat with us today. I assume Dumbledore didn't want to say no after I had been gone a week. That, or he just didn't mind. Minerva probably talked him into it. Luna spoke first as I sat down next to Draco, Amelia and her sitting across from us. "Good afternoon! Y/N, we have some news for you." Draco suddenly glared in her direction, making Luna squirm in her seat happily. I looked at them curiously, then Amelia spoke up quickly. "Draco and I are dating." I widened my eyes, completely in shock. I had no idea they were even interested in each other. "Are you soulmates?" They blushed before looked at each other, then back to me. "Yes." Draco managed to spit out nervously.

I grinned and nodded, happy everyone had found their soulmate. Even Luna had told me 2 weeks ago that her and Neville had gotten together. I seemed to be the only one that didn't have it together. Speaking of, I should probably go check on Severus. He sounded really unwell. "Well, excuse me. I have a.. important project to attend to." They nodded, looking at me weirdly. I smiled and stood up, walking over to the staff table. I stopped in front of Minerva who simply smiled back at me. "Good afternoon, Y/N." I smiled back, bowing to her which caused her to let out a laugh. "Good afternoon, Minnie."

I had come up with the nickname earlier that week, she seemed to not mind it.

"What is it you came up here for?" She smirked, somehow knowing what I had come to tell her. "Well, I planned to..." I paused, noticing all of the teachers listening in. "I planned to finish that project you asked me to do." She smiled, nodding understandingly. "Good luck." She patted my shoulder and sent me off.

I was finally on my way to Severus. I just hoped he would accept me.

I practically dashed to the dungeons, almost running stray students over. I didn't care, I just wanted to get there as soon as possible. I stopped in front of his hallway, slowing my pace so my footsteps weren't as loud. I quietly stepped down the corridor, thinking so many thoughts before I froze in front of the door.

My hand was stuck to the knob and I couldn't move. I was terrified. I remember what Hagrid said before. Deep breaths. I inhaled sharply but quietly, trying to keep my voice down as I settled my thoughts as quickly as I could manage. I nodded to myself and opened the door. I didn't see him anywhere. I furrowed my eyebrows, frowning to myself. Then I got an idea. Oh, his chambers!

I walked over to the large door hidden by a black curtain. I had only seen him enter this once, but I assumed it was his chambers as he had come out in a new robe at the time. I placed my hand on the knob, mentally preparing myself. I took another deep breath and knocked on the door, not wanting to intrude, incase he was like... naked or something. I heard soft groans and the light pitter of footsteps tapping on the floor. The door swung open and I felt my heart tug.

He stared at me with wide eyes. I did the same to him, analyzing him. He looked pale. More than usual. His skin was almost white. He had bags under his eyes and his hair was messy. He wore a grey sweater with a white shirt underneath and tan jeans. He looked both amazing and horrible at the same time. He seemed incredibly sick and it only made me more upset.

I snapped out of my thoughts and looked back to his face. He was still staring at me, this time with his eyes almost halfway shut. He was exhausted, frozen in place. I frowned, staring into his eyes. "May I come in?" I managed to speak to him for the first time in a week. He didn't reply, but moved to the side, allowing me in the room. I walked in and he shut the door behind him. I looked around his chambers, examining them in awe. It had a lot of dark colors. Dark green, dark red, dark grey, tan, white and black filled the room. Coloring the place beautifully. I clutched the book Minerva gave me in my hands, taking everything in.
