When he spoke up next, I nearly fainted.

I left his office and immediately ran to Severus' room. Was this dumb? Very. Was I smart? No.

I didn't even bother to knock; I just slammed the door open and shut it behind me. I quickly turned toward him as he stared at me like I was insane.

"He knows."

"Who? About what?"

He paused for a moment before looking at me with concern.

"And why are-"

I cut him off, not feeling I had enough time for chat. "DUMBLEDORE!"

He froze a moment, probably thinking everything over. He didn't say anything for a good while, so I took this time to sit down on top of a desk, in front of him.

"You do understand what this means, right? I am going to lose Quidditch and Prefect. I am going to be expelled from Hogwarts and you thrown into Azkaban and I am going to have-"

He stood from his seat and huffed, clearly agitated by my sudden news. "I need you to leave."

I stopped and stared at him as if he had just ran me over. "Pardon?"

"Leave. If he knows, it would be best for you to not be cooped up in my room when he comes to speak to me." He spoke slowly, trying to appear calm and help me understand why he was asking me to leave. I agreed with him and collected my stuff, going to exit the room.

"And...take the bracelet off." I grimaced as I turned back toward him, questioning why I would need to do such a thing.

"If we keep the bracelet on, it will appear cyan. Making it extremely obvious."

I nodded and removed the bracelet. I stuffed it into my bag and finally exited the room, successfully making it to the Slytherin Common Room without anybody seeing me. I entered and sat down on the sofa, dropping my stuff onto the floor next to me. I sighed and threw my head back against the headrest.

"Ooh, testy day, am I right?"

I heard a soft voice speak and turned around to be greeted by Esmeralda. I gave her a soft shrug, pretty much the only thing I could muster at the moment. She walked over and sat down next to me, staying silent...which I mentally thanked her for. That was until I heard a loud voice boom through the room, rudely interrupting my peace...and what do you know? Draco.

"AYE, Y/N! AMELIA HAS BEEN ON ME ALL DAY THANKS TO YOU." He yelled across the room with no care in the world as he jogged over to the sofa and sat on the arm of it. I huffed at him, "What now? Can't you see I'm busy." and gave him a death stare as I rested my head again and closed my eyes.

I could hear him giggle in response, no doubt coming up with what he thinks is the most clever reply in the world. "Busy doing what? Moping about? Come onnn!" I sighed angrily and held the bridge of my nose, begging him silently to just leave me alone. I managed to get about 7 seconds of quiet until he spoke again.

"My father is holding a posh dinner party at our manor tonight. He would like you to come."

I laughed and opened my eyes. "Oh yeah, I am sure. Especially after the last time where I managed to knock over every single vase in your corridor."

Draco spit out a hiss and held his cheek, "Ah yeah, my mum's slap is still burning through my skin!" I rolled my eyes and sat up. "Fine. Who is all coming?"
