"Do you really want to try another way?" he shot me a soft smile, which he never really did. Not that I have seen, anyway.

"...No."
———————————————————————

He stared at me with what I could only describe was confusion, but he seemed passionate, like he really wanted to try this.

I put one of my hands onto the desk behind me as he began stepping toward me. I was incredibly nervous as I knew what was coming. He quickly made his way over before he stopped in front of me. He was a few inches taller so I had to look up at him as his shadow loomed over me. I blushed and paused a moment, remembering the bracelet.

"Wait!"

He raised an eyebrow, which I do not blame him, he wasn't even moving before so I did not necessarily need to tell him to wait...

I reached into my pocket and grabbed the ball of paper. I brought it out and he glanced at it before taking a step back. I frowned a bit but brought it up in front of me anyway. "You want to speak on this now?" he questioned me, slight annoyance in his voice. "No...but if we are going to really test it, don't you need your bracelet on?".

He tilted his head slightly and nodded, reaching his hand out toward me. "Can I put it on?" he hesitated before nodding again. I un-balled the paper and took out the bracelet. I grabbed his wrist and pulled it toward me, sliding the bracelet over his knuckles, since it was rather small, it got a bit stuck on his hand. I pushed harder and finally it slid onto his wrist. "Ouch." I giggled as he smiled back at me.

I stared up at him as he looked back into my eyes. I felt butterflies in my stomach as he reached his hand up to hold my cheek. I blushed and he leaned in closer, we were so close I could feel his breath hitting my lips. Just then, the door slammed open. He quickly let go, but not before they saw.

"Oh! Sorry to interrupt, but we have a problem, Severus."

Minerva stormed back out of the room, Snape following closely behind. I sighed and groaned in frustration. "Aw, come on!"

I left the classroom and walked back to my commonroom. I got changed and then laid in the bed, finally falling asleep.

I woke up to the sound of piercing screams. I immediately jumped up and ran to see what the issue was. There was a few first-years in the commonroom, running around like crazy. "What is going on in here?" I yelled over the screaming, hoping somebody would hear. Some of them stopped running and others continued. "Somebody tell me what is happening in here!"

One of them ran over to me, looking back at the small group of people running around. "Um, somebody found a snake." I raised an eyebrow and laughed. "A snake...you guys are in Slytherin, yet you're afraid of a measly snake?" I walked over to the middle of the group, pushing some of the students aside. There on the floor was a snake, dead. "Oh merlin, you guys are afraid of a DEAD snake?"

Some Slytherins, I tell ya.

"Wingardiam Leviosa!" I grabbed the snake using my wand and open a window, lowering it to the ground. I shut the window and looked back at the students who were all now staring at me. I smiled and went back into my dorm to get changed. Once I did that I walked out of the commonroom and headed for my first class. I had herbology first, which was alright. I didn't mind the topic but the mandrakes we were handling were a bit of a mess.

Next I had charms, after that I had alchemy, then DATDA. Which was where I was now. Lupin was teaching us about thestrals, what they do, what they mean and who can see them. It was a fun class, then again, I find every class interesting...except for arithmancy. That class sucks.

—TS—

My last class of the day is advanced potions, which I should be excited about, however I was a bit worried to see Severus, but I am not sure why. I made my way to the room and sat in my usual seat, noticing that he wasn't here yet. A few more students came in before the door finally swung open and he came strolling in, cape flying behind him. He spoke about a new potion we were making, Felix Filicis made from scratch. This seemed like a simple potion, but I wasn't complaining, I'd take this over something difficult any-day, especially right now.

I began putting my ingredients in the cauldron and brewing the potion. I looked around and noticed everybody else seemed to be doing well. That was, until I looked beside me. Draco was struggling to keep his potion under control. Severus walked over and looked into the cauldron. Before he could say anything, the potion made a loud cracking sound and there was ashes everywhere. All over the three of us, all over the table, the floor...everything in the radius. Snape begin telling Draco how much of a nuisance he was until class finally ended. He angrily dismissed everybody, but I stayed behind so I could help him clean up.

I began wiping the table before he grabbed my hand and stopped me. I looked up at him. I could tell he was still angry. "Severu-" He shook his head, causing me to stop. "Not a word. Why would you not help him if you knew what he was doing?" I furrowed my eyebrows, "What? I was focused on my own potion! This isn't my fault. Why are you even mad at me?" He took a step closer to me. "Woah, stand back, you look like you stood inside of a fireplace." I giggled to myself and then I figured out now was not the perfect time to make a joke.

He grabbed my chin tightly, causing me to stare into his eyes. "Don't play with me. You had one job in this classroom." I smirked, deciding to play with him more. "Well...I thought my job was to bother y-".

Before I could even finish, I felt his lips angrily crash into mine. It was magical. (pun intended) I felt like we were the only people on planet earth. It was soft and passionate, yet rough at the same time. It was exactly what I had imagined.

I wrapped my arms around his neck as he tilted his head and grabbed my waist. I felt my wrist vibrate and just as I went to check, the door opened. We quickly separated, thankfully the student that walked in was looking down at their books. I looked at my bracelet, then his. They were both cyan. We were soulmates.
