Previously:

"Allow me to stop you there. I understand your intentions. However, the headmaster needs time and space currently. Bring your friend to my classroom and I will answer your questions." I turned around to look at him and nodded slowly.

...

We agreed with Severus--err, Snape--that it was best to leave him be for now. We walked off toward the dungeons. Once we got to the classroom we knocked on the door and waited for an answer.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The door creaked open, and he stepped aside to let us in. Esmeralda thanked him as she passed by. She sat in the desk closest to his. I was a bit confused at this, usually students are terrified and sit as far from him as possible...but I'm probably just reading too far into things again.

I preferred to stand, so I stood next to the seat she occupied. He closed the door behind us and came strutting into the room with his cape flowing behind him. I think this is a big part of why people are afraid of him...he walks with extreme confidence and doesn't care who or what is around him. This may have been intimidating to others, but I found it intriguing. In my opinion, people only overexerted their confidence when they have something to actually be insecure about.

I was interrupted from my thoughts by his overwhelmingly deep voice.

"I wish you to stop daydreaming and ask your questions."

I blushed out of embarrassment and looked over at Esmeralda, who was already staring at me, waiting for me to speak first. "Well...what happened in the Great Hall?"

I wasn't sure what had gotten into him, but he huffed and rolled his eyes when he heard my question, as if it was the dumbest thing he had ever heard. "It was trashed."

"No shi-" I quickly covered my mouth, not realizing how comfortable I was around him in order to let that slip unconsciously. "Excuse me?" His voice lightened a tad, almost like he was trying to stop himself from laughing. Esmeralda could probably sense the tension and spoke up for me.

"Ahm...Was it a troll?" Her accent really showed when she spoke this, I giggled and looked away, pretending to be laughing at something else, instead of the very serious question she had just asked. I seem to always laugh in the worst situations. Snape raised his eyebrow at me before he turned to her.

"Possibly."

Esmeralda's eyes widened as she considered the possibility of a troll being able to easily wander into the Great Hall.

"Possibly not."

I furrowed my eyebrows as I looked back over at him, he sat with a mundane look on his face. He was completely serious. They had no idea what had caused the accident. Esmeralda stood up and cleared her throat. "Pardon me, I have got studying to do. Please keep me posted, Y/N." I nodded and watched as she left the room. I looked back over at him as he began shuffling papers that laid on his desk.

"Anything else, Conway?"

I raised my eyebrows as I stared at him, but he kept his gaze on his papers. "Conway? Is that where we are now?"

He paused before he spoke with a snarl. "We were never anywhere else." I grimaced before I took a step closer to his desk. "Weren't we?" He finally looked up at me and cleared his throat. "Do not take another step. This is inappropriate." I smiled and stepped closer. I was now just on the other side of his desk. He huffed at me and looked back at his desk, refusing to make eye contact with me. "Tell me you saw the bracelets."

He hesitated before speaking again. "I do not know what you are talking about."

I frowned and played with my robe as I got an idea. I was going to play with him. "Should I remind you?" His eyes widened as he looked up at me, he spoke quickly but stuttered, "N-No". I smiled and walked over to him. He stared back at me with a straight face, but I could sense that he was nervous.

"Surely you are interested in remembering." He didn't say a word, he just looked back at me. He paused. It was like he wasn't looking AT me, but THROUGH me. I waited a moment before speaking again, "Ahm-". He quickly stopped me. "I know what you are planning to do, and I highly recommend you exit the room before it leads to a place you are not comfortable going."

I furrowed my eyebrows before I smiled at him again. "I think I'm comfortable going anywhere with you."

His look faltered before he went right back to his flat look. I was now stood right in front of him as he faced me. I reached down and grabbed his cheek as he looked back at me, now with a look I could not even describe. I leaned down and kissed his cheek. I stood back up and smirked, happy with how I had confused him. I knew he thought I was going to go in for an actual kiss, but this way I could stood win.

I turned around toward his class door and walked towards it. Once I had grabbed the handle, I paused and looked back at him. "Perhaps now you will remember." I left the room before he could reply. I grinned at my own antics and walked to my commonroom. I looked down at my bracelet, which was the color orange. He is anxious. I smiled and blushed before I was dragged out of my thoughts by Draco yelling at me. "Y/N, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? I have been worried sick!"

I giggled and stepped closer to him, "You? Worried? Hah!" He grinned at me, knowing I was right. He grabbed my arm and dragged me over to the sofa.

"I have so much to tell you."
