I closed the book in a fit of rush, turning around and standing up. "Nothing, I was looking for.."

I realized that moment she was holding Penelope, who seemed to be in a deep sleep in her embrace.

"Answers?" She completed my sentence. Yea, technically. I suppose, she must've known why I was even looking at the book, which had now changed into its original condition. "About my gift?"

All I could respond was with a slight hesitant nod.

                                        - - - - - -  - - - - - - - - -

I was in her room, waiting for my promised answers; yet Narcissa seemed to have something else on her mind. She shuffled through her massive old wooden cabinet; the roof of the cabinet touching the creamy white ceiling.

"Mrs. Malfoy, what are you exactly doing?" I inquired leaning my head over to get a better view, however, I failed to.

"Y'know, you don't have to call me by my surname." She let out a chuckle right after finishing her sentence. Then, what was I supposed to call her?

"Mrs...Narcissa?"

"Don't have to be that formal either, Emerlyn."

Now, I'd come to think of it. I was being quite formal.

"Nar..cissa?"

"That's better." She turned around, exposing her face and revealing the little bottle of Yew she was holding. It was poison. Many thoughts raced around my mind along with a bit of concern for her.

Why did she casually have a whole bottle of poison?

In front, of me was a small coffee table, with a glass of tea. I hadn't drunk anything from it and wasn't planning to as I was quite full. She sat face- to - face without any concern opened the bottle and poured it into the tea.

Creating two mixtures combined together.

I was taken aback, as my eyes slowly widened from the action. Even, touching this type of poison could lead to serious consequences. What was she even trying to prove?

"Drink it." She demanded.

My lips parted apart. Did she know something about me?

My heartbeat became noticeable and pounded heavily. I wasn't going to just drink poison and kill myself right there and then.

"I said, drink the tea." She repeated herself in a monotone tone. Was this even Draco's mother, or someone else?

"But you..you..poisoned it?"

"I said." she came to a halt, her intimidating brown eyes met mine. "Drink. it." This time her tone contained dominance and recklessness.

No, I thought to myself.

There was something off, she poisoned it in front of me, and then was telling me to drink it.

Say no more. My fingers circled around the cup and I leaned the cup towards me only for me it violently explode. The pieces of the dark brown cup hit many places, including my leg and the glass table.

Causing the broken cup to make loud noises.  As for the tea, it was already cold but stained my pants and hands to which with a flick of a wand Narcissa cleaned up the mess surrounding me. This reminded me of one event.

When Pansy offered me juice, that must've meant she mixed something suspicious in it and the necklace detected it.

However, Narcissa was still not done yet.
