The door creaked open. I took a single step inside shutting the tall door only to be filled with silence. Where was Draco?

 Could he be--

No.

Everything was fine. Everything was fine. Everything was fine. Everything was fine. Everything was fine. Everything was fine. Everything was fine. Everything was fine. Everything was fine. Everything was fine. Everything was fine. Everything was fine. Everything was fine. Everything was fine. Everything was fine. Everything was fine. Everything was fine. Everything was fine. Everything was fine. Everything was fine.

That nightmare had caused a disastrous result for me. I walked toward our shared bedroom, and the nagging sound of my shoes clicking against the wooden floor was louder than usual.

I silently opened the door and viewed the empty, unorganized bedroom. It was an unsettling feeling to hear my heart pounding at such a rapid speed.

"I thought you would return on Monday?"

In a panic. I flinched at the voice behind me and turned around.

My heartbeat wasn't so unsettling anymore. I took a silent breath of relief and comfort. Tonnes and tonnes of panic melting off.

Draco was holding a mug, with untidy hair framing his face and the same eyebags decorating his face, and a simple black t-shirt covering him.

"You're supposed to be asleep.." I inquired, ignoring his question.

"Can't..." He replied taking a noticeable breath before.

                                                                 - - - - - - - - -

"You need to stop thinking about that case Draco.." I covered him with a layer of the blanket, running a hand on his forehead to my fingers exploring his smooth hair.

"We still have two days off till the weekend is over, how about we go out somewhere and get your mind off this?"

He thought about it for a while. "What if someone ruins it, by questioning me--"

"We won't let them."

The morning went by usual. Then the evening arrived and then the awaited date. It was an elegant and joyful date. A few times, I felt as though my body was smiling.

I exited the restaurant to be met by the freezing breeze passing through my curls with the intention to wait for Draco to leave from the same door I had. My eyes searched the door until a strange but familiar man walked outside.

I explored all my memories but I couldn't recognize who he was.

Until he slipped off the hood uncovering his identity.

Axel.

Rage exploded in my mind. He had been watching me from the beginning

"You!" I howled. I could swear he let out a nasty grin in satisfaction.

"What brings you here--"

"Don't act like you weren't just stalking me!"

"That too with a reason--I just need a moment to talk to you--just the two of us."
