Giving in to Temptation

Chapter 1

"Time to get up ladies!" Alaric shouts from behind the door. He looks at his watch and sighs at the twins oversleeping.

Josie groans and picks up her pillow to cover her head and block out the annoying voice of her father.

"Dad, please leave!" Lizzie says throwing a pillow at the door. The sound of her father's voice is really irritating her.

"You guys will be late, come on we got one hour until it starts."

Josie moves the pillow from her head, hearing her father say that made her check the time on her phone and he's right.

She puts the phone back on her little bed table and turns around to get out of her sister's grasp."Lizzie he's right, we gotta get up or we will be fined for being late for move in." She says, yawning half way through it.

Lizzie groans when her twin stops their cuddle session."Fine, didn't you set an alarm though?" She sits up to rub the sleep out of her eyes.

"No I forgot because I was being bugged to death about having one more night of twin cuddles for the last time at home." Josie says and stretches her limbs.

"Well excuse me for wanting to show my sister some love." Lizzie replies standing as well. "I'm pretty sure this will be the last time since we plan on doing our own thing after we graduate." she reminds sadly.

'Yeah.' Josie thinks, she's not to overly excited about that but she knows it has to happen. The idea of not being with her twin all the time is something she isn't looking forward to getting used to.

"Hey," Lizzie says looking at her sister's pout and the sadness that clouds her features, "I will follow you anywhere in this world." She engulfs her sister into hug and Josie smiles at the comfort.

"Okay let's get ready, I don't want dad singing that damn beer song while we're on the road." Lizzie says after they hug for a while.

Josie chuckled but nodded in agreement with her twin, that song is awful.

She went into the bathroom, took a quick shower, brushed her teeth her hair, did her eyebrows, and put on the outfit she had previously picked out the night before.

A simple black and red striped trim crop top tee that showed her belly button and some comfortable black flare pants.

She clipped her star necklace together around her neck and put on her small star earrings as well. She then threw on her black and white converse to complete the look.

After finally deciding to tie her hair into a high ponytail, that she will probably let down later, she checks out her appearance and smiles leaving the bathroom to finish getting ready.

She double checks her suitcases so she doesn't miss anything,'Where's my laptop!?' She thinks as she searched through her second suitcase.

"Dad! Have you seen my laptop!?" She yells, from her room.

"Yes I was using it for work, it's down here." He says back.

'Ughh. I wish he would ask before he takes it.' She thinks as she makes her way downstairs.

When she gets down there she sees that Lizzie is already gulping down her first cup of coffee and her dad is on said laptop right now at the dining table.

"Dad why didn't you just ask me to use it? I was going crazy up there thinking I lost it." She says walking up to her father.

"I'm sorry sweetie it was a work emergency and I didn't want to wake you up. You guys ready?" He says handing her the laptop.
