Giving in to Temptation

Chapter 9

"This is your car?" Josie asks.

The car is a very nice and expensive looking Mercedes-Benz convertible. It's red and black, the door windows are tinted, and it looks shiny like it had just been bought from the car dealership.

After looking at the car, Josie thinks she knows why Hope enjoyed seeing her in burgundy scrubs so much and why she asked if she had red.

'It's got to be her favorite color.' She thinks as she approached the vehicle.

"Yep. It's okay, just something to get me from point A to pint B." Hope says unlocking her car and walking over to the driver's side.

"No, my dad's broken down jeep is something to get from point A to point B." Josie replies and opens the passenger door.

When she looked inside she gasped,  even the seats and seatbelts are red, everything else is black and silver.

Hope chuckles at the brunettes response and closed her door. She put her seatbelt on and was about to insert the keys but stopped when she saw Josie still looking inside."are you getting in?" She asks the brunette.

Josie shakes her head no,"Uh uh. I'm scared I'll dirty up your seats or something. It's so fancy and I can't afford to mess anything up."

Hope rolls her eyes and giggles,"Josie get in the car."

Josie chuckles as well and she gets in. She closed her door and put on her seatbelt before she adjusted her seat."this is really nice." Josie says moving her hands along the dash.

'It even smells like her.' She thinks inhaling and exhaling slowly.

"I'm glad you like it," Hope says and starts the car.

'Damn it even sounds expensive.' She thinks as she listens to the start of the engine.

Hope pulls down the sun visor and grabs some sun glasses, she slides on her shades and turned to look at the brunette."because I will be taking you grocery shopping from now on. Just let me know when you need to go okay?"

Josie just nodded along, her cheeks pink because Hope had rolled down the windows, the wind and sun hit her perfectly. Every feature is glowing, her perfect jawline, her eyelashes, she can't see her eyes because of the shades but those are perfect too, and last but not least her pink lips.

Hope caught the brunette staring as she pulled out of the parking lot."what?" She asks, smile in place, this time she's showing teeth and Josie's not surprised that they are pearly white, she even thought she saw them sparkle in the auburnettes mouth.

'Again,why is she so hot??' Josie thinks before she looks away,"I like your shades." She says groaning silently at her poor lying attempt.

"Thank you." Hope replies accepting the compliment before focusing back on the road.

Josie keeps her eyes eyes trained outside the window."Your favorite color is red isn't it?" She asks the auburnette.

"How did you know?" Hope asks through a chuckle.

Josie smiles loving the sound of the auburnette's laughter,"Your car is red and you asked me if I had red scrubs." She says moving her gaze back toward the auburnette.
