Giving in to Temptation

Chapter 4

Since I ended one of my books yesterday here's a chapter 😪

"So this is what your room looks like?" Josie asks the auburnette as she looks around.

The room isn't so plain anymore. One side has a mountain of blankets on the bed, posters and fairy lights are on that one whole wall,and above the bed there's a huge set up of lit up letters that spell out Alyssa.

Josie doesn't need to guess who's side that is. She looks at the other side which seems neat.

The two wide dressers are on top of each other and they sit next to the bed. On top of them is a huge set of paint brushes, large and small, two or three color sets stacked onto each other, and rags that are stained with paint.

On the bed are two pillows that are covered by grey pillow cases and the bed is covered with what looks like one of those white marshmallow blankets and it looks like there's a black one right under it.

Josie's a little jealous, she seen a couple of blankets like that at a store but they were too expensive.

Her eyes then move toward the end of the bed near the closet area, there's a black easel with a blank canvas on it, and more of them are on the floor next to it.

One side of the closet is filled up while the other side of the closet is only half filled.

She assumes the half filled one is Hope's side, she can see the nice looking tops and jackets that are hung up.

When she gets to Hope's side of the wall she sees a bunch of paintings that all have a signature that looks like Hope's name. All except one that has two signatures, she can't make out the other name though but the last name is still Mikaelson.

Her eyes scan the beautiful paintings before she gets to photos. She can see Hope in a few, in all of them she's with people she doesn't recognize but she's pretty sure they are Hope's family members.

"Yeah I'm pretty much finished with unpacking, I just have to put my study supplies on my desk out there." Hope says and reaches for her backpack.

Josie nods as she continues looking at Hope's part of the room, she noticed that Hope has a large M on the wall that's near the head of her bed that looks like the same symbol that's on her necklace.

"That must be important." Josie says.

Hope follows Josie's line of sight and she nods. "Uh yeah, it's my family's crest."

Josie watched Hope frown for a second and before she could say something it was replaced by a smile, "did you want to study in here or in your room?" She asks.

Josie was about to ask but it seems like Hope changed the subject purposely so she thought against it. "Um let's go to my room, we won't be interrupted. Lizzie won't be back for a while."

Hope quirked a brow teasingly,"We are studying right?"

Josie's cheeks flush and she realized how that might have sounded. "Yes just studying not sex."

Hope chuckled, "I didn't say anything about sex."

Josie's blushed intensified after that, "No I know, it kind of sounded like I was planning to have sex with you,"

Hope blushed that time and Josie's eyes widened when she heard what she said, she then started waving her hands in panic, "No I'm not saying that I plan on having sex with you-"

Hope bursts into a fit of laughter, she couldn't contain it because Josie is making it worse.

Josie felt her cheeks turn beet red in embarrassment, "let's just go to my room to study." She says walking out of the room a bit hurriedly.
