Turns out Hope was right, it wasn't scary at all, unless she counts the deadly knives attached to the creepy burnt man, then yes it's terrifying.

She's been stuffing her face with popcorn and it's kind of been working, it's also distracting her from the constant whispering coming from Landon.

She can't hear of course but when she heard Hope giggle one time, her blood began to boil. 'This is supposed to be a date between me and her. I'm not supposed to be a freaking third wheel.'

She's knocked out of her thoughts when a loud scream erupts from a woman on the film, who was currently being stabbed to death.

It made her jump slightly and she clutched the bag of popcorn in her hand tightly. 'So much for it not being scary.' She thinks.

She closed her eyes so she doesn't have to see but the sound of flesh being empaled by steel over and over again has her trembling. 'It's just a movie, it's fake.'

She repeats that thought in her head but her thoughts pause when she feels soft fingers slide into her palm.

The feeling of cold metallic rings mixed with warmth sent a small chill down her spine which she enjoyed because she recognizes that warmth.

She opens her eyes and glanced into the auburnettes direction. Her bright blue eyes are still on the screen so Josie's eyes drop toward the woman's hand which is now caressing her knuckles with her thumb.

Josie doesn't know why the small action brings her so much comfort.

She moved her gaze back up to the auburnettes face, her eyes still haven't left the screen but Josie smiles anyway, especially when she feels Hope intertwining their fingers together.

She looked down at their hands again, giving Hope's fingers a squeeze, her eyes then shoot back up to the girl's face.

A smirk that Josie recognized as Hope's signature smirk, makes it's way onto her face, the woman's eyes are still glued to the movie, and the sight made heat pool in Josie's stomach.

After a another minute or so, Hope slowly turns toward the brunette,"you're staring." She whispers.

"I'm just innocently observing." Josie whispers back but her eyes are only focused on the auburnettes lips.

Hope lifted a brow at the response,"Innocently?" She asks holding a teasing smile.

Josie can hear the auburnettes flirtatious tone and she grins,"what else would I be doing?"

Hope narrows her eyes playfully at the brunette and squeezed her hand,"Watching the movie." She replies nodding her head in the direction of the large screen.

Josie chuckles softly before she scoots closer toward the girl. She makes the effort of looking Hope up and down, she can't see much in the dark but she has pretty much memorized majority of Hope's features."You are much more entertaining especially when you show me that gorgeous smile."

Hope's eyebrows raise in surprise at the response and Josie mentally high fives herself because that didn't sound too bad.

Even in the dark she can see a light brush of pink coating Hope's cheeks.
