Giving in to Temptation

Chapter 30

After Josie slipped into some comfortable shoes, she met Hope in the living room.

Hope is holding a small blanket and josie glanced at it curiously,"It's so we have something to sit on." Hope explains.

Josie nods in understanding, 'I'm going on a date with Hope! That I didn't ask her too, just be cool jo.' She thinks giving herself a small pep talk while Hope leads her outside their suite.

She then remembers that they are going to watch a scary movie and she's terrified of everything."You promise it's not scary?" She asks the auburnette when they get outside the dormitory building.

Hope's mouthed curled into a smile as she looked at the brunette,"I promise but if you happen to get scared you can hold my hand throughout the movie." She says softly.

Josie beams at the response and her teeth dig into her bottom lip as she looks at Hope's free hand,"Does it just have to be during the movie? Can I just hold your hand now?" She asks timidly.

Hope's smile grows easily,"Of course you can Jobear." She says holding her hand out for the brunette to take.

Josie snakes her hand into Hope's palm, her skin thrums happily especially when she laced their fingers together.

The small chill that vibrates through her body when she feels the cool rings on the auburnettes fingers mixed with the woman's body heat, is something she looks forward to getting used to.

If Josie knew it was this easy she would have been taking advantage of holding Hope's hand, granted she's done it before but she was trying to be smooth and she hasn't gotten the chance to do it since.

"You can hold my hand whenever, just so you know." Hope adds, she looks down at their hands, pink paints her cheeks and the woman smiles at the sight of their joint hands."I don't know if I told you that yet."

Josie thinks it was downright adorable"Aww," she squeezed the girl's fingers,"are you giving me permission?"

Hope chuckles,"Duhh." She says playfully,"otherwise I wouldn't have said it jo." She adds so Josie doesn't notice she's fighting an incoming blush.

"You're lucky you're adorable." Josie says ignorant of her affect on the woman,"and we have a movie to get too, so put some pep into your step Mikaelson." She says pulling Hope along so they can get to her car faster.

Josie didn't expect this many people to be in town square tonight but then again she should've known. Movie nights in town are popular, she never understood why, because she never went when Lizzie invited her to go, they always show scary movies.

She's still holding Hope's hand, who lead their way through people who are setting up to watch the film as well.

Popcorn machines, vending machines, cotton candy machines,etc; everything is everywhere if they need something.

Hope picks out a spot near the back, there's only a couple of people around who seemed to have wanted privacy or at least space from other people.

It's a nice starry night, it's not too chilly outside but Josie's glad she wore a sweater or else she'd be freezing.

Nothing occupying the streets except for the street lights that aluminate the towns stores and their main tourist attraction, the bell tower.
