Giving in to Temptation

Chapter 5

Once Hope walked out of the room, Lizzie was quick to close the door behind her and point a finger at Josie.

"What happened in here???" She asks the brunette.

Josie sits on her bed,"We were just studying." She says pushing her text book further up the bed.

Lizzie quirked a brow,"So you guys were having sex?"

"No!" She says quickly, her cheeks turning pink at the question,"does it really sound like that when I say study??"

"Why? did she think you guys were going to have sex too?"

"No I did." Josie replies, Lizzie's eyes widen at the response and her eyebrows shoot up in surprise.

Josie blushed furiously because it's sounding all types of wrong.

"No that's not what I meant!" She takes a deep breath to compose herself, "look when I suggested that we should study together, it came out a little wrong because I said you- my sister wouldn't be back for a while." She sighs, "Since when did saying 'we're going to study' actually meant,'we're going to go have sex?'" She asks.

Lizzie scoffed out a laugh,"When you get to college. It's code jo." She says and starts going through their little mini closet, "so I'm assuming you guys were actually studying then, was it a little study date?"

"It wasn't a date but we were studying and I got to know her a little bit. She's so interesting." She says thinking about their conversations earlier.

"Wait you were the one that asked her to study with you? Nice." Lizzie says throwing a top on her bed before looking for a skirt."wait when did you ask her?"

"At the library. Oh some girl named Penelope gave me her number when I was getting my books. I think she was flirting with me." Josie says remembering that interaction.

"Damn sis, sounds like you have a lot of options." Lizzie chuckles.

Josie shakes her head,"It's not like that." She says dismissing the woman's assumptions.

"If she was flirting with you, it's like that." Lizzie says taking off her pants to put on the skirt she found.

Josie rolls her eyes,"well, it's not like that for me." She says before she pulls out her phone,"anyways, what time is this party? I invited Hope and she needs to know if she's going to go."

"I see that your making moves with her." She says before grabbing the top to her fit,"it's cute, the party is at 8."

Josie nods as she sends Hope a quick little text. Hey it's Jo-Josie, my friends call me jo so you can too... anyways the party is at 8 see you there?

She puts her phone on the dresser and walks over to her dresser."what should I wear?"

Lizzie finished getting dressed herself, "Something cute."

Josie rolls her eyes,"No really?" She asks sarcastically as she finds a cute black and green long sleeve top.

"Yeah I mean you want to look hot but not slutty. Hope doesn't seem like she likes the slutty type." Lizzie continues as she opens the door and gets ready in front of the mirror.

"I wouldn't dress slutty anyway." Josie says picking out a pair of dark jeans.'not until Halloween anyway.'

She closed her drawers and changed quickly, she doesn't do anything to her hair right now so she just takes it out of the ponytail and lets it hang on her shoulders.

She heard the sound of her phone buzzing so she walked over to check it.

She tries not to smile too hard when she sees a text from Hope.
