"W-what??" She asks, her voice and body suddenly trembling, not wanting to believe what she just heard.
"She got into a car accident." Lizzie says handing Josie back her book.
The brunette takes the book and throws it onto the floor, studying is the last thing she's thinking about right now."When??" She asks bringing her hands together to stop them from trembling, it's no use.
Lizzie grabs her hands trying to calm her down,"I heard an hour ago I was-."
Josie's eyes widen,"An hour ago!?!?" She begins to breathe in and out heavily. Her mind is jumping to the worst case scenarios and it's not helping her calm down.
Lizzie can see her sister is on the verge of having a panic attack,"Jo let me finish." She says shooting her a look.
Josie exhales shakily, she nods her head signaling Lizzie to continue talking.
"I have been looking for you ever since I found out. Jed told me and he was told by Landon."
"Okay," Josie says and thankfully Lizzie released her hands so she used them to comb through her hair."is s-she g-going to be okay?" She stutters nervously.
Lizzie sighs,"I'm not sure. None of us know what condition she's in but she's here. She was admitted into whitmore but she isn't allowed visitors until she is cleared."
"I have to go see if she's okay, wait I can't, there's no way vardemus is going to let me back into the patient unit and you just said she isn't allowed visitors." She groans sounding pained,"How did this happen?"
"I guess she got into an accident because she sped off somewhere and she got hit." Lizzie says recalling what Jed said, he was speaking really fast and she had to slap him to get him to relax.
She shakes her head feeling helpless,"Her hands got to her face,"oh god this is all my fault." She adds and she was about to start crying but Lizzie removed her hands quickly.
"Don't guilt trip yourself. No one knew this was going to happen. It was an accident." Lizzie says softly, she feels bad too. She found out because she was looking for the girl so that she can give her a piece of her mind for making her sister cry but she was informed about what happened instead.
"Okay." Josie sniffles, some tears fell because her thoughts are in a dark place right now."I can't help but think about the last conversation I had with her, it could have been our last."
"It's definitely not your last conversation, I'm sure she's fine." She sighs tapping her foot as she thinks.
When an idea popped into her head, she grabs her twin's hand again,"We're getting you into that hospital." She says dragging her sister out of the library.
