《JAY'S POV》

Jay sat down next to a very grumpy looking Felix. It was 6.30 in the morning and their bus was about to leave. "Good morning, how are you doing?" He greeted his friend.
"Terrible."

"Hmm. You know I kinda had a feeling, judging by your face."
"This is torment! I had to wake up at 5! It should be criminal to wake up at early for school!" Felix was talking so loud that even one of their teacher turned around to give him a dirty look.

Jay grinned. "Well at least you're making sure everyone's wide awake."
Felix frowned, not having noticed the volume of his voice.
"Thirty, thirty-one." Their teacher mumbled, as he walked by.

"I'm not that loud. I'm just a bit upset."
Jay gave him a reassuring smile. "Believe me when I say everyone knows that now."
Felix looked even more angry now and Jay regretted not having shut up when he could've.

He decided it'd be best to let Felix sulk for a while and turned his head, to look at the chair in front of him where he knew Nick to be. Riven was sitting next to his ex, probably staring out of the window right now, although it was still too dark to see much.

But then he heard voices and realized it was Riven and Nick. They were actually talking to each other. That surprised him a bit, because when they were sitting alone together, without him and Felix, they were usually just awkwardly silent.

It was nice to see they really were starting to rebuild their friendship. Especially for Nick. Although he and Jay had talked about his friendship with Riven not being the same anymore, they never really discussed why that happened in detail.

Jay still suspected at least one had turned the other one down, although he still found it a bit hard to believe as he had truly thought they were both into one another.

The bus finally started moving, to Jay's relief. He waited impatiently for the bus to turn around the corner, out of sight from their parents who had come to say goodbye.

Then, he quickly got up from his chair, looking for his boyfriend. He wondered if Levi was maybe sitting in the upstairs part of the bus, but then he noticed someone waving at him from the corner of his eye.

"Levi, get over here!" He shouted, which got him a disapproving frown from one of the teachers, who was just about to sit down a few chairs behind them, but he couldn't care less.

Levi started making his way over to him, together with his luggage, Matt and Alex, who seemed to be in the same mood as Felix.
"Hey." Levi sighed, when he finally got to the place where Jay's friendgroup was sitting.

"It's so good to see you." Jay smiled, but he didn't get the chance to start a conversation, since Felix suddenly got up.
"I'll go sit behind you guys. Don't make too much noise, I'm going to try to get some sleep."

They all knew if there was anyone who was known for making noise it was Felix, but Jay didn't bother arguing with him, instead taking a few steps back to let him move to the seat behind them.

Levi quickly sat down on the seat that Felix had been sitting on and Jay dropped down on the chair next to him.
Matt and Alex meanwhile, took a seat across the aisle from them, while starting a conversation with each other.

Jay looked at Levi, realizing this was the first time they could really speak to each other again in over a month. Yesterday had been great, but their ability to talk had been limited since they had been sitting with all of their friends.
