The conference that was held by several high-ranking officials of the central government of the Verenigde Staten van Indonesië with several high-ranking officials of the central government of the Netherlands at the parliament building in The Hague has resulted in a decision in the form of holding a referendum in the form of an opinion poll which will provide an opportunity for the people of the VSI to choose whether the Verenigde Staten van Indonesie will still remain a commonwealth of the Kingdom of the Netherlands with an independent government like the relationship between Australia and the United Kingdom, or Indonesia is completely separated from the Kingdom of the Netherlands and stands alone as a fully independent country.

Now the fate of the Verenigde Staten van Indonesië is in the hands of the people of the VSI itself and the battle that will be carried out by politicians, state officials, artists, intellectuals, social media influencers to ordinary people to influence each other so that the people of the VSI are more inclined towards to choose one of the two options that are available in front of them when the poll is being taken, in which soon they will vote for Indonesia to be fully independent or to remain as a part of the Commonwealth of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Unfortunately, before the voting began, people who did not study history were easily influenced by various propaganda made by extremist groups in which these groups even threatened to take up arms and massacre those who did not agree with the ideology adopted by those groups and invites the communities around them to support and even join them in taking up arms and carrying out violence to support the achievement of their goals, be it groups that adhere to leftist ideology such as socialists, center, or right such as religious groups.

I, whose mother is a refugee from the Bosnian war and whose father's family is a survivor of the massacres carried out by the Socialist-Communists group during the Social Revolution era and have studied history a lot, certainly understand that massacres and violence can be perpetrated by people regardless of their religion or ideology when the various propaganda that they read and heard managed to manipulate their emotions.

I don't want the Bersiap Period or Social Revolution to happen again and Dutch civilians and minorities here massacred and their places of worship and businesses destroyed but, I also don't want Muslims here to be oppressed again by the people who support fascism or those who support the narratives that being brought by foreign countries about how bad Islam is.

Seeing the growing hostility between the groups who support full independence and those who still want Indonesia to be a part of the commonwealth of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, mevrouw Sofia and I decided to try to calm the growing tension between these two increasingly hostile groups by making a video containing myself and mevrouw Sofia sitting next to each other and give our advice to our video viewers.
