FIFTEEN

THE GROUP OF FRIENDS WERE STUCK down there for hours. Now all on top of the elevator, only being able to see through small holes from the ceiling. All of them watched as two people grabbed boxes, speaking in Russian amongst themselves before shrugging it off and leaving. Steve jumped down just in time to place the container of green liquid down to stop the door from closing completely.

"Let's go." Steve rushed, waving his hand as a sign to hurry up and make their escape. He pushed Erica's bag through the opening, before letting Erica go first. Then Dustin went right after, with Robin on his trail. Dylan, with the help of Steve, crawled through the small opening finally letting go the breath she had been holding the whole time.

Once everyone was out, the green liquid crushed as it sizzled on the door. Making it apparent that whatever it contained wasn't anything good. "Jesus Christ." Steve strained, as he barely caught his breath. Dylan helped him up, holding her hand out for him to take, which he gladly did.

"You still wanna drink that?" Robin asked Erica, side eyeing the younger girl.

Dylan turned her attention towards Dustin. "Holy mother of god." Dustin voiced as everyone turned to look at the hall that looked never ending.

"Well... hope you guys are in good shape." The Harrington boy spoke up, preparing himself for the tremendous workout he was about to be receiving. "Looking at you, roast beef." He tapped Dustin's chest, walking into the blue lit hall.

"Let's go, come on." He urged, making everyone follow after him.

"Why me?" Dustin confusingly questioned, not understanding why the Harrington boy picked him out of the others to pick on.

"Dustin just ignore him." Dylan smiled, trying to ease the boys mind. She patted his shoulder moving towards where Steve started his decent down the blue lit hallway.

Side by side, Dylan crossed her arms over her chest. "You don't have to be so rude to Dustin."

"I'm not being rude," Steve replied, rolling his eyes.

Dylan narrowed her stare, holding it for a moment, then sighing as her face loosened up. "I thought we, or well you, were supposed to be nicer now?"

Steve's shoulders sunk, "Was it too far?"

"Just dial the hostility down a bit is all." Dylan shrugged, leaving Steve behind as she walked faster than the others.

"To be fair to our Russian comrades, i don't think this tunnel was designed for walking. Think about it, they developed the perfect system for transporting that cargo." Robin said as they all continued down the never ending tunnel.

"It all comes into the mall like any old delivery." Dustin agreed with Robin, the others listening as they continued to talk.

Robin continued for him, "And then they load it up onto those trucks and nobody's the wiser."

"It's pure genius. Disguise whatever they are doing as deliveries in a busy mall, no one would suspect a thing." Dylan shook her head in disbelief as she came to terms with the entirety of it all. In her mind it was genius. Covering it all up as delivers, no one would know.
