After departing from the Abomasnow, Amy was roaming through the Coronet Highlands when her Arc Phone rang.

Pokémon found are Clefairy, Clefable, Zubat, Golbat, Paras, Parasect, Psyduck, Golduck, Machop, Machoke, Geodude, Graveler, Golem, Gastly, Haunter, Onix, Voltorb, Rhyhorn, Rhydon, Scyther, Electabuzz, Magikarp, Gyarados, Crobat, Cleffa, Sudowoodo, Yanma, Misdreavus, Gligar, Steelix, Heracross, Sneasel, Teddiursa, Ursaring, Stantler, Elekid, Nosepass, Roselia, Barboach, Whiscash, Chimecho, Shinx, Luxio, Luxray, Budew, Burmy, Wormadam, Mothim, Cherubi, Cherrim, Mismagius, Stunky, Skuntank, Bronzor, Bronzong, Gible, Gabite, Hippowdon, Croagunk, Toxicroak, Carnivine, Magnezone, Rhyperior, Electivire, Yanmega, Gliscor, Probopass, Rotom, Basculin, Goomy, Sliggoo, Goodra."
As Amy walked she found a satchel on the ground. She decided to bring it along as she doesn't have anything. Inside was some Pokéballs and Potions she saw in her textbook. With the items she caught a Shinx and while training she heard someone clapping at their battle. "Bravo! Incredible showcase of battling young lady!" The man said putting down his large Backpack. "Who are you?" Amy asked. "I am just a simple merchant. My name is Volo" He answered.
Something told Amy not to trust him as he came from nowhere but looking closer he looked like Cynthia. She figured since this is in the past Volo will be Cynthia's ancestor. So she decided to ignore her subconscious and trust him.
"I'm Amy" She shook his hand. All of a sudden a Hippowdon attacked. Amy was quite shocked as it came from nowhere, but Volo was quick in his reaction. He simply dodged and pulled out a Pokéball. From the Pokéball came out a Togekiss which used Extrasensory taking the Hippowdon out in one hit.
"Come on before we get killed. After a while of walking, Amy noticed some smoke nearby. Upon closer inspection, it seems to be a small green camp.
Upon stepping closer her Arc Phone rang, but to not raise suspicion she ignored it for now. "What was that sound?" Volo asked. "Not sure," Amy responded trying not to look suspicious.
