Amy looks up upon her next opponent, Wyrdeer as Luxio growls trying to intimidate Wyrdeer, but clearly, it is not working."Amy, meet The Noble Pokemon Wyrdeer Lord of the Plains, and your opponent."
Mai introduced Wyrdeer to Amy. Wyrdeer hopped down to Amy and looked at her closely. Wyrdeer bowed down like the Black Belts she saw in the TV shows, Amy bowed with Wyrdeer.
"Are both sides ready for battle?" Mai asked. Wyrdeer nodded. Amy took a deep breath and agreed.
Wyrdeer immediately started the battle by using Psyshield Bash knocking Luxio back. Luxio hit back with Shock Wave in anger. Amy quickly scanned Wyrdeer to see its levels and realises it is level 25, three levels higher than Luxio's level 22. Amy panicked, "Luxio, it's a Psychic type we use Bite!" Amy said in a panic.
Wyrdeer notices Luxio's bold move and used Hypnosis. Luxio fell to the floor asleep immediately. Amy quickly returned Luxio and sent out Basculin who flopped on the floor, Wyrdeer and Mai looked confused as to how a Basculin could fight on Land.
"Basculin, uhh... Aqua Jet!" Amy commanded. Basculin immediately sprung up and surrounded itself with water from a pond nearby. Moving extremely fast Basculin hit Wyrdeer before it could think of a way to counter. Basculin quickly bit Wyrdeer with its jaws.
Wyrdeer used a confusion to fling Basculin off its body. Basculin quickly used another Aqua Jet however this time Wyrdeer moved out the way with no problem.
Amy kept trying the same move with the same result but soon, Basculin hit Wyrdeer with a Bite Instead. Amy clicked she had an idea, to hit Wyrdeer with sudden surprises randomly. Using the Strategy, Amy has defeated Wyrdeer. While Celebrating Amy thought she noticed a suspicious-looking figure on the cliffs but it disappeared before she can make out the figure.
"Good Job Amy! Not many could stand up to Wyrdeer's intelligence. I wonder if your friend will have any trouble with the wilder Kleavor?" Mai said.
At the same time, Nora has just started her battle with Kleavor. Kleavor started the Battle using a fast Air Cutter which Garchomp had no problem dodging, but Kleavor quickly hit back with Leaf Blade. Garchomp roared in pain but successfully hit a Fire Fang on Kleavor.
Nora knew Kleavor will suffer barm from Garchomp's Ability Rough Skin by using Leaf Blade so she would use it as an advantage. "Garchomp, Dragon Claw!"
Garchomp Slashed at Kleavor with its claws, but Kleavor blocked it with its axes and hit back using Double Edge. Garchomp sharpens its claws with Swords Dance and Gets hit with an Air Cutter From Kleavor Nora noticed this Air Cutter looked different, it was clearly stronger than the first one.
Kleavor, got tired after the attack and stopped moving around and Garchomp took the chance to use another Dragon Claw.
Kleavor recovered from its attack and hits back with Double Edge and Garchomp hits a Fire Fang. And that was enough to defeat Kleavor.
