Chapter 33: Electrifying battle!

Amy approached the Moonview Arena, amazed at the view below.In a blink of an eye, Clover ran past her, screaming. Following her Coin ran in. "Coin, what is going on?" Amy asked. "Run for your lives! Electrode has gone mad! Charm is holding it off!" Coin yelled running off and ignoring Amy. A part of Amy wanted to turn the other way and run but Amy wanted to help, taking a deep breath, she continued up.An explosion blasted a few Voltorb out of the Arena. Amy saw Charm and her new Rhyperior fighting the enraged Electrode with all their might. "Charm! What happened?" Amy asked. "We were trying to feed it, but then someone decided to throw rocks at it so it could get down! Rhyperior Protect!" Charm yelled. Rhyperior blocked a group of leaved Electrode fired with its protective armor. "I'll help you, go Abomasnow! Use Ice Punch!" Amy called. The recently evolved Abomasnow blew cold snow onto its fists, punching the Electrode and causing it to recoil back. "Charm, could you get Captain Cyllene's permission to cause the Electrode to faint? It's the only way." Amy asked. "Right away." Charm said running out of the Arena. "Abomasnow, we cannot hurt it yet, so let's just hold Electrode off, use Wood Hammer!" Amy commanded. Abomasnow swung its arms hitting Electrode, who did not budge at the grass-type attack. Electrode let out a bolt of electricity which missed. "Need help? Traitor?" A voice called out above the Arena. Amy looked up seeing Melli sitting on a rock just above the Arena walls."No, I have beaten Noble Pokemon before, I can beat Electrode too. Abomasnow, use Synthesis!" Amy answered going back to the battle. "Oh but Electrode is not as easy as you think. When he gets angry, his firepower becomes tripled. Rage is his form of attack." Melli said, playing with a Heavy Ball."Just shut up Melli," Amy said. "Oh please, I'm just trying to help," Melli replied. In a flash, Abomasnow was knocked into the wall. "Allow me," Melli said, throwing his Heavy Ball. A Skuntank burst out from the Heavy Ball with a grin. "Skuntank, use Yawn!" Melli commanded. Skuntank yawned at Electrode who after seeing the attack started to slow down. "It's that easy little girl," Melli said flying down with his Golbat.The sound of munching is heard, causing the two to look back at Electrode who was chewing on a Lum Berry. "Oh Arceus, we are doomed," Melli swore, retrieving his pokemon and running off. Amy sighed, grabbing Luxray's Pokeball. "Let's go Luxray, use Swift!" Amy commanded. Luxray roared at Electrode who was intimidated by the opponent. Electrode rolled in for a Rollout as Luxray shot a storm of little stars which followed Electrode.At that moment, Charm's Gengar appeared next to Amy. Amy noticed a piece of paper Gengar was holding. "Cyllene understood the situation, you are allowed to let Electrode Faint." The paper read. Amy smiled, knowing she can use full power now. "Luxray, Fire Fang!" Amy commanded. Luxray pounced on Electrode bitting it with its now burning hot fangs.The electrode is even more furious, Electrode charged up a Discharge attack and shot it around itself ignoring the danger of that move. "Iron Tail!" Amy commanded, Luxray swung her tail hardening it as she hit Electrode as hard as it could. The electrode used another Discharge and Luxray responded by bitting Electrode using another Fire Fang. As Electrode was worn out during the staling proses Electrode fainted from exhaustion. Amy sighed, relieved that the battle was finally over.
