Amy heard a loud splash of water in the ocean. "Oh! He's here!" Iscan said. "Whos here?" Amy asked. "Basculegion, I called him so that we could battle. But, you were a little earlier than I expected. "Well, while you're here. Why don't you evolve Basculin as well?" Iscan suggested. "Why not." Amy shrugged. "Great, leave him here I'll ask someone to return him to you as soon as he evolves," Iscan said. Amy handed Basculin's Pokeball. Another splash is heard in the water. Basculegion levitated in front of Amy staring at her demanding a battle.
A beam of light burst out from Amy's sachel revealing Rowlet who has already evolved into Dartrix through some training around the shores.
"Dartrix are you up for the task?" Amy asked. Dartrix flapped telling her that he is ready. "Dartrix, Magical Leaf!" Amy commanded. Dartrix shot glowing leaves towards Basculegion who easily maneuvers through them. Basculegion then dashed towards Dartrix and used a Hex. Dartrix then retaliated with an Aerial Ace.
Basculegion then crunches on Dartrix who cries out in pain.
"Dartrix use Roost!" Amy yelled. Dartrix surrounded himself with its feathers which heals Dartrix back to full health. Basculegion then blasts itself into Dartrix using Aqua Jet followed by a Crunch. Dartrix swung its wings towards Basculegion. "Dartrix! Return!" Amy returned Dartrix sending out another Pokemon. "Luxio, use Bite!" Amy commanded. Luxio Bit onto Basculegion who tried to force Luxio to loosen its grasp. "Use Charge!" Amy commanded. Luxio while still on Basculegion, surrounded itself in light preparing for the next attack. Basculegion grinned at the thought of something and started to surround itself in water, soon it sprung up and brought Luxio into the water.
As Basculegion carried Luxio deeper and deeper into the water Amy realized it wanted to bring Luxio somewhere she cannot fight well. It was an attempt for an unfair advantage.
As Amy worried about the well-being of Luxio she noticed a yellow flash in the depths of the water. Basculegion sprung up onto the surface with Luxio biting onto it with its fangs, which are surrounded by electricity.
Luxio used a Thunder fang on Basculegion to not harm the other pokemon in the water. Basculegion then spun in circles confusing Amy.
"Basculegion is surrendering, you have defeated him," Iscan informed.Luxio hearing this, let go of Basculegion and hopped off. A sudden explosion surprised Amy and Iscan. "Did the Volcano nearby just erupt!? " Amy asked. "No! The volcano there has been dormant for hundreds of years! Something or someone is behind this!" Iscan responded. Amy sweated, She looked at Basculegion who nodded.
