Chapter 35: Ursaluna and Lilligant

Nora turned around seeing an old woman and a Ursaluna looking at them. Nora recalled her name was Calaba. "Now you just did something impossible, young lady," Calaba said. "Yeah, Warden Calaba I don't have much time left. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll have to get to Jubilife Village." Nora said. "Not so fast! Ursaluna is interested in you." Calaba said."Not interested," Nora said. "Hydro Pump," Calaba commanded her Bibarel. A stream of water blocked Nora's path. Nora sighed sending out Scizor and Gyarados. "Scizor, Close Cambat on Bibarel. Gyarados, Ice Beam on Ursaluna." Nora commanded. "Bibarel, Super Fang on Scizor." Calaba said. Scizor jumped in front of Bibarel, punching Bibarel viciously while Gyarados shot a beam of ice toward Ursaluna. Bibarel bit on Scizor's arm causing Scizor to stop his attack. Ursaluna was hit with an Ice Beam, using its claws to carve a piece of boulder throwing it at Gyarados."Gyarados catch it and use Hyper Beam! Scizor use Bullet Punch!" Nora commanded. Gyarados wrapped the boulder with ease crushing it into pieces. Scizor punched with extreme speed with Bibarel biting Scizor's arm catching it ablaze.Gyarados sent a powerful beam at Ursaluna who countered by shooting a stream of mud, the mud was pushed out of the area towards Bibarel catching it off guard. Ursaluna was covered in the attack. Scizor finished Bibarel with Bibarel tumbling down. The beam stopped revealing Ursaluna falling over unable to battle."Oh, I see. Seems like Ursaluna and Bibarel need more battle training." Calaba gasped. "Now if you don't mind, I really have to leave," Nora said. Calaba nodded returning Bibarel to its Pokeball.Nora landed in front of the Galaxy Team Building."Nora over here!" Akari called. "What's wrong Akari?" Nora asked. "We know you have a few days until Volo attacks us but I know someone you can really train with. They're resting next to the barber shop over there!" Akari said.Though battling is not something Nora is thinking of at the moment, she decided to give it a try. Looking at the empty buildings Nora really thought of what would have happened if they had failed. "Took you long enough." A woman with red hair said smiling. "I don't quite recognize you. I do remember seeing you before somewhere briefly." Nora said. "Oh, then let me introduce myself! My name is Arezu, Warden of Lilligant. As Akari has told me, I will be battling you. I actually brought Lilligant with me too." Arezu said, standing up from the stool."Anyway, let us begin! Use Giga Impact!" Arezu said throwing out a Pokeball. From the Pokeball came a jumping pokemon with leaves for hands and a pink flower crown. "Lili~gant!" The pokemon sang."Alright then, Use Extrasensory!" Nora commanded. Nora's pokemon chuckled maniacally, while Lilligant's attacked to phase right through it. "How did you get one of those?" Arezu shrieked.Spiritomb turned around sending a wave of energy at Lilligant moving her around the arena and crashing into buildings and crates without any mercy. "Training a Spiritomb is kind of difficult, Rei told me it took a while for his Spititomb to actually listen. They would immediately follow you if you were evil however as shown by Volo's Spiritomb." Arezu informed. Spiritomb laughed maniacally as Lilligant was smashed from wall to wall, crashing into crates and barrels along the way. Spiritomb eventually stopped shooting a sphere of energy toward Lillugant who was too injured to move. "Lilligant, recover using Synthesis!" Arezu commanded. Lilligant absorbed light from the sun healing some of her wounds. Spiritomb cackled at the thought of something as Lilligant absorbed sunlight stuffing them in an orb. Spiritomb shot a larger Shadow Ball at Lilligant knowing he will win in any scenario. "Lilligant, it is time for a Strong Style Solar Beam!" Arezu yelled as Lilligant grabbed the orb, hurling it toward the Shadow Ball which was absorbed by the attack crashing into Spiritomb, and creating smoke.When the smoke cleared, it became apparent who the winner was as Lilligant stood heroically in front of Spiritomb's unlit Key Stone. "Lil~" Lilligant cheered.The Key Stone while no one was looking waddled and lit up with a small shimmer. Projecting a face above which was raging in anger, Spiritomb shot a wave of energy once again, hurling Lilligant toward the Village entrance, shocking everyone.Spiritomb laughed pulling Lilligant back, preparing a Shadow Ball. "Spiritomb, stop!" Nora yelled. Spiritomb paused staring at Nora with anger. "You might end up killing Lilligant, Is this what you want?" Nora continued. Spiritomb looked at Lilligant who was wincing in pain, Spiritomb struggled but eventually put Lilligant down restarting the battle fairly. "Lilligant, use Petal Dance!" Arezu called. "Spiritomb, Shadow Ball!" Nora commanded. Lilligant whipped up a storm of petals launching them towards Spiritomb who shot a Shadow Ball that passed through the petals hitting Lilligant and launching her backward. Lilligant shot another storm of petals, this time twirling them around her ramming into Spiritomb. Spiritomb was not affected by this and countered with a Dark Pulse, knocking Lilligant back. Lilligant gave a small nod to Arezu. "Alright, use Acrobatics!" Arezu commanded. "Use Shadow Ball!" Nora yelled. Lilligant bounced around the surrounding area, dodging Spiritombs's attacks eventually landing a powerful blow on Spiritomb. This however left an opening, allowing Spiritomb to land a close-ranged Shadow Ball, ending the battle.
