Amy approached Akari in the battle grounds. "So, what did you call me for Akari?" Amy asked. "I want to train you, since there seemed to be more thiefs and dangerous people recently." Akari answered.Akari sent out her Staraptor who squawked viciously. Amy grabbed Luxray's Pokeball. "Now, now Akari. Thats not the right way to train her." A voice called out from inside the building. Beni walked out the building holding a gray sphere in his hands. Amy noticed Beni has a belt with four Ultraballs hanging from it.Beni signaled Akari to take a few steps back, "To train her in criminal handling, you need to have an element of Suprise!" Beni threw the gray sphere onto the ground in front of him which created a smokescreen. A Sneasel looking Pokemon jumped passed the smoke with it's claws extended out towards Amy. Amy in a hurry grabbed a random Pokeball, sending it out she realized she sent out her recently caught Pokemon, The Snover from the Alabaster Icelands.
"Snover? Sneasler could easily take you out." Beni's voice echoed around Amy. Sneasler giggled at Snover and prepared a battle stance.
It slowly got harder to see the surroundings as Amy is engulfed in darkness only able to see a few feet in front of her. "Sneasler, use X-Scissor!" Beni commanded. "Blizzard!" Amy countered.
Snover whipped it's Arms around throwing snow all around it. Sneasler moved past all the snow coming it's way and dug it's claws at Snover."Use Dire Claw!" Beni said, his voice still echoing.
"Block it with Energy Ball!" Amy yelled. Snover held a green orb in it's hands waiting for Sneasler to pop out for an attack but noting happened for a long time.
Sneasler while Snover put down it's guard lunged out and clawed at Snover, who immediately turned around and blocked the attack. "Interesting." Beni's voice said from behind Amy."You do know a lot about Pokemon" Beni said from her side."it's funny that people from Space-Time Rifts always know a lot more than other people." Beni said this time in front of Snover."Sneasler use an Agile Style X-Scissor!" Beni called out.Sneasler jumped out of the darkness and attacked Snover who barely dodged it.
"Sneasler use a Strong Style Close Combat!" Amy looked around seeing no signs of Sneasler, " Use Ice Beam when it comes out." Amy whispered to Snover.
Sneasler lunged out once again, Snover caught Sneasler running towards it and shot an Ice Beam before Sneasler could do anything.
Sneasler is knocked back into the darkness. "Battle is over. You can stop now Mismagius." Beni said as the surroundings returned to normal.
Beni was now almost unrecognizable now. He was wearing a ninja like outfit which makes him look more fit."Good job Amy, you really surprised me with that skill." Beni said.
"Thanks, picked it up from my friend." Amy responded.
"Remember to always expect a battle. Memorize where your Pokemon are placed for easy access." Beni informed.
"Thanks Beni, where is Akari?" Amy noticed Akari has already left.
"Oh, she left once we started." Beni said. "Thanks Beni, I have to take my leave now." Amy turned around and froze. On the other side of the path is Volo waiting for Potions to be crafted looking at her with a sinister smile.
