GORE WARNING

I run desperately toward the sound of roaring water. My canteen was already starting to run out and the sun had been boiling since yesterday.
I crash through the bushes and see the lake. The surface of the clear water sparkles in the sunlight, my mouth drools. I rush over and kneel by the bank having to internally wrestle with myself so that I wouldn't drink the unfiltered water.
Instead, I dunk my canteen inside and watch it fill up with anticipation. As I wait, I hear something nearby.
A splashing noise. Like something was walking through the lake.
  I look up, then freeze.
In front of me, holding a bloody fish in its sharp teeth, was a giant grizzly.
I don't move a muscle. I stare into its black eyes. It stares back.
I try and be quiet as I slowly move my hand away from the water and toward my gun.
  The bear drops its fish.
All at once, the bear rushes to me, stands up to a towering 9 feet, then almost deafens me with its roar. I scream and sprint in another direction down the lake, dropping my canteen.
As I run, I hear big footsteps behind me getting louder and louder. I'm carrying too much weight, I drop my back pack.
I look behind to see the bears growling face jump out at me.
All the wind is knocked out of me as I fall face first to the wet, muddy ground. I feel my gun slip off my torso and hear it fall to the ground in front of me. I roll over just in time to kick the bear in the face before it can bite my leg off.
After I do though, it looks at me with a rage filled gaze, then roars again. Then it pins me to the ground.
I feel the bears scolding breath on my face, then close my eyes as tightly as I can. God, I hope this goes by quickly.
Just as the bear blasts my ears with another roar, warm liquid splatters all over my face. Must be saliva.
I wait to be finished off.
  Nothing happens.
I look up to see two razor sharp blades sticking out of the bears neck, oozing blood all over me.
The blades leave with a sickening squelching noise, then suddenly  there's a sound like something being sliced into and piping hot blood sprays all over my face.
Everything is silent for a second, then the bears head falls right off and onto my stomach. I'm too terrified to scream.
The body then floats high into the air, then is dropped away from me with an earth shaking thud. I gape up to see that whatever killed it was in front of me. It was just invisible.
The only way I can tell it's there is by the blood covering its clawed hand as it approaches me.
I try to crawl away, get my gun, anything but the bear head keeps me pinned. All I can do is watch as the thing kneels down in front of me.
There's a few tense moments of silence, then something starts to emerge into view. Slowly, I watch as the creature reveals itself to me.
Its body is made up of tough looking, scaly green skin with patches of a rusty color. Futuristic armor covers its chest, face and waist, leaving the rest of its heavily muscled, fishnet clad body exposed. And as for its head, the mask was more easy to see now. There was no mouth opening, only two, wide red windows for the eyes that no doubt are piercing right into me right now.
I stared at it as it sat, motionless, silent. Then it lifted its blood caked hand and pointed at the head.
I looked down to see the disturbing sight of the bears glossed over eyes staring back up at me, blood dribbled out of its mouth and neck hole.
After not responding, the creature pointed again, this time more frustratingly.
I sighed, then forced my fingers to grip the fur on the sides of the head. I use all my strength to lift it up off my lap, more blood spilled, leaving a trail. I hold in my urge to vomit as I offer it up to the being.
I hear the same clicking noise, then I feel all the weight get lifted from my hands and arms. It takes the head, stands up, then slowly walks away, hesitating a bit.
I watch it as it strolls down the lake, then once again fade away from sight.
