For pauks sake. Why does this ooman always have to get me in trouble?
Zadea glances at the female ooman, then slowly looks to me.
"Care to explain," he notices the older male ooman curled up by the wall, "um, this?"
I sigh heavily, "This older male was attacking that female. You know how dishonorable that is."
   Zadea nods.
   "So I had to intervene."
Zadea clicks his tusks behind his helm. He hums, then turns to the female again.
   "You know we've been seen."
I quickly interject, "I'm sure no one will believe her. Even if they do, we'll be long gone by then."
Zadea hums again, then shifts his attention to the glass wall. I turn as well.
We both stare in awe at the creature before us. Aside from Zadea, I've never seen a serpent queen up close. The thing is uglier than I imagined, yet it's fascinating to see.
Zadea opens his gauntlet then types in a message. A notification to Prime. Finally, we're going home.
"Welp, that finishes that." He nods to me, an order to follow.
I take a step toward him, then stop. My eyes turn to the female. To her terrified expression. Her helpless stature.
"Um...w - what about that ooman?"
"What about her? 'We'll be gone by then'"
I swallow, "I mean, just...just go on ahead, I'll meet you at our spot."
Great, doesn't sound suspicious at all.
Zadea huffs, probably rolls his eyes, then exits through the hole in the ceiling. I take a large breath, then bend down in front of the female.
Luckily, she doesn't seem hurt. Just scared and confused. With nothing better to do, I extend my hand to her.
