The thing is gargantuan! Twice as ugly, spikey and it's human like teeth spews out viscous saliva as it snarls through the glass. Even though it has no eyes, It feels like it's looking directly at me.
I yelp loudly, stumbling back.
Fortunately, its legs, four arms and long, sharp tail are tightly chained up. Though, guessing from its roars and the growling, it did not want to be here.
I pick myself up, then cover my mouth.
Was I too loud?
The door suddenly flies open, hitting the outside wall hard. In the doorway stands, who I assume, is the same scientist from earlier. His wrinkled face stares at me, shocked and bewildered.
"W - who are you?! One of the soldiers?! You're not allowed in here!"
I back away from him, try to reach for the door behind me. He turns and sees the giant alien.
"Dear lord! You've seen it! Get over here!!"
I try to run. My hand grabs the door knob. The sweat makes my hand slip right off. The scientist snatches my arm.
My back slams against the wall, knocking my breath right out of my throat.
"You're not leaving! I'm gonna report you, then you'll be taken away, understand?! DO YOU UNDERSTAND YOU STUPID BI -"
He levitates into the air, then is dropped onto the ground. He lets out a sputter, then a groan. Then a scream of pain. A spot on his back presses downward, pinning him to the ground.
"W - wait, stop!" I surge forward, arms outstretched.
My hands shove against an invisible mass. There's a garbled grunt, then a crackle of blue light.
Just as I thought, one of the humanoids appears, his clawed foot crushing the scientist beneath it. I look down and I'm relieved to see a bear skull hanging by his belt.
"Bear, please, let him go, I'm fine. I'm OK."
He stares blankly at me. The guy underneath him squirms like a fish out of water. After some thinking, I raise the arm that had been grabbed.
"See?" I point to it. "I'm not hurt! Now let him go!"
He looks at my arm, then lifts his foot. The scientist gasps and sputters before crawling and curling up in a corner.
"J - j - j - Jesus Christ!!" He squeals. "Holy fuck!!"
Bear growls low and deep at him, taking a few steps toward him. Before I can intervene, the vent above breaks open. The grate falls off the ceiling then lands with a clash!
We all look up and see a dark, sleek figure emerge down from the vent. It's the large humanoid from before.
He gracefully settles onto the ground, looks at me, then Bear.
