Jimin looked around, seeing a lot of his fans who wouldn't stop blankly staring at him. He walked, holding Jungkook's hand and flashing a tight-lipped smile at everyone before they got inside a conference room.
Grabbing a chair, Jimin put his plastered hand over the table. Jugkook grabbed a chair beside him with a sigh. He looked nervous to speak anything, knowing that Jimin had been avoiding the talk every time Tiwi or he brought it up. It had been a few weeks since they moved, and he wanted Jimin to start looking at a few in-house projects, but the actor made it clear that he didn't want to work at all. "I am sorry," the younger suddenly apologized. "I know it must be tough on you to be in this environment. If you want, we can leave in a while."
Jimin's eyes widened slightly before he grabbed Jungkook's hand and his thumb padded over his skin gently. "No, no... I feel like such a shitty boyfriend. You were always there for me and I should be too when it's an important day for you. I will behave."
"No," Jungkook grinned. "You are just a baby." He pinched Jimin's cheeks.
"Oi!" The man yanked Jungkook's hands away. "I guess I should remind you who is the boss, little boy."
Jungkook giggled and leaned closer to Jimin to just stare at him with a fond look on his face. "What? Do you really think I am that fussy?"
"A superstar who doesn't know how to check in the hotel, book flights, pack his bags. He can't cook, wash his dogs, or do his laundry. He can't even change his TV settings. He needs a chauffeur to drive him around. He recently broke his own palm because he couldn't control his anger. I could go on, Hyung."
Jimin stood up from his chair, opening the button of his blazer. He leaned down and grabbed Jungkook's nape, digging his fingers into his skin. "But he sure knows how to fuck-"
Jungkook's palm flew up to Jimin's mouth to shut it as he laughed out softly, trying not to invite people's attention. "There you two are!" Tiwi barged in, unbothered. Jimin stood straight, removing his hand from Jungkook's neck. "Let's get to work." She raised brows at Jungkook when the 23-year-old didn't move.
"Yeah," the younger now dragged Jimin towards the front of the room. The big 20-seater table looked humongous when only three people sat around it. He looked nervous when Jimin peeked at him.
From under the table, the actor held his hand and squeezed it softly, flashing him a small smile. "Mr. Nolan," Tiwi spoke as a man entered the conference room and Jungkook stood up, pulling his hand away from Jimin. The director approached Tiwi and shook her hands first before turning to Jimin and Jungkook. The blonde remained seated, looking at the familiar face as he leaned back on the chair comfortably. Jungkook was quick to bow and greet him, and then Jimin nodded his head to acknowledge Mr. Nolan's presence.
"Jimin," Tiwi invited her brother's attention at the same time she indicated Jungkook to sit down. Jimin looked at her blankly, not wanting to follow what she was going to say. "As you are aware Mr. Nolan is a great director. He has been kind enough to offer his help to Jungkook with his first project. He has certain ideas and we wanted to know your opinion on them too. Jungkook insisted on it."
"You just want my opinion?" Jimin asked. If the past was any indication when she and Jungkook tried to talk him into taking one of the movies, he didn't believe her.
"Mhm," Tiwi hummed as she started typing on her laptop. Mr. Nolan's face didn't give Jimin anything to pick from and when his neck finally craned to Jungkook, he looked more than nervous.
"Baby," Jimin whispered, reaching for his hand again. "You are going to do great."
"Should we move to the set, then?" Tiwi stood up.
