Jungkook had to come to his own house for the shower because he only carried one pair of clothing for a change, and by the time he had finished cleaning everything, his clothes were ruined. With every breath, he wanted to call Kyla and tell her to accompany Jimin tomorrow instead of him, but he knew he couldn't do that as he'd signed up for the job. The lady was occupied with no bandwidth to spare. And she was leaving in two days.
The dogs ran hither-tither in his house, one chewing on his shoe and the graceful hound just sitting on his couch while watching Bam and Coco wreaking havoc. Jungkook, however, paid no heed to them and only picked the three before leaving the house in rather a very grey mood.
While he was on his way to Jimin's house, he received a call from the man himself asking him to drop the dogs off at the caretaker's house.
The bronde discovered that the dogs lived at the nanny's house and Jimin brought them home only once in a while. Knowing what Jimin was up to, it was the ball way out of the park. How did Jimin get so petty? Jungkook didn't know, nor was he willing to find out. He just wanted to do his job without absolutely breaking down.
As he arrived at the actor's house, there was someone who startled him, Kim Taehyung. The man got a few signatures over papers that Jimin carefully read and the assistant's work was done, not without smiling and waving at Jungkook on his way out.
"You are back."
"I am. What is it that you needed me to pack?"
Sighing, Jimin looked at Jungkook's frizzy hair, telling him that the 22-year-old had showered in haste without conditioning his hair or heat-drying them. "I am going to need you to plan a small shindig, Jungkook."
The bronde kept gawking at Jimin when he lowered his chin, looking up by raising only his eyes. "Are you going to make notes or your IQ will allow remember all this?"
Silently taking out his phone, Jungkook opened the notes app and began to type away as Jimin dictated the list of guests. "You will have to arrange the evening and I want it to be a closed affair. No paparazzi."
"Yes, sir."
**
Jungkook sat with the driver and Jimin sat in the back passenger seat, covering his face positively with a mask, sunglasses, and a hat. The tinted windows of the car didn't allow outsiders an avenue inside, but Jimin was still sitting like he would be squished by a crowd if he moved a little. "You okay back there, Jimin?" Jungkook asked, seeing the man in the rearview mirror having his head dipped down. This was the next morning and it was an affair of cool breeze and aqua clouds all around them, vastly regulating happy hormones in Jungkook's body and he wasn't the pall of what last night was.
Raising his thumb, Jimin indicated that he was fine, making it clear that words would be expensive from his mouth.
With certain breaks, they reached the island and it was Jungkook's time to shine as he rushed ahead of Jimin, carrying his bags and getting him checked into his room. Every time he made it through a task without Jimin getting snarky at him, it brought him a deep sense of appreciation and motivation.
His own room was right next to Jimin. He went over the details with Kyla this morning as the lady had been kind enough to call him herself and remind him of everything like his mother used to do before he went to take exams. To his happiness, he has aced today's job, almost.
Realizing that the peach couch Jimin used at the sets wasn't just for the local locations, he needed the exclusive couch everywhere he went. Just in time, he arranged for the movers from the film staff to get it transferred to Jeju only this morning.
