Amidst the salmon pink arena, Jungkook walked. He wore a black suit and black shoes. The sun was soft on his skin as he paced on the carpet towards the aisle. His lips had the biggest grin and his arms were spread. Looking at the younger male, Kyla's lips stretched beautifully and she got up from the wooden floor she was sitting on while holding the hand of a woman.
She whispered something into her ear before the other woman nudged her. Kyla jumped off the aisle and ran to hug the man with a familiar round face. "What are you doing here? The wedding isn't until late evening."
"Your brother told me I would find you here, and I had something to deliver too, so I came here first," Jungkook replied, pulling back from the hug, but still holding Kyla's arm.
"How was the travel? Did Jimin come?"
"It was a bed of roses, Ms. Saina. Stop worrying about me," Jungkook uttered and then smiled apologetically. "Jimin couldn't come, but he sends his regards."
Kyla held Jungkook's biceps, to look at his glowing self some more. "Ah, it's so good to see you. I've missed you both so much."
"I missed you more, trust me."
Kyla chuckled and grabbed Jungkook's hand to take him towards the aisle where her fiance now stood smiling. The guests hadn't arrived yet as the two brides came to see the pier they were getting married at in two hours. A few bridesmaids were running here and there, a few carrying flowers, and a few make-up kits.
"This is Jungkook." Kyla introduced the actor's assistant to her soon-to-be-wife.
"And she is Alex."
"It's so nice to finally meet you. Kyla said you were pretty, but I couldn't imagine this much." Jungkook made the woman blush as she held Kyla's hand and leaned her head against her shoulder.
"You are quite the charmer yourself, Jungkook. Where is Jimin?"
Jungkook wanted to speak, but before he could, Kyla hugged her and kissed her head. "He didn't come because he didn't want to steal my girl's thunder on her special day."
Jungkook looked at the wise woman, holding her pregnant fiance and comforting her. He smiled and his eyes brimmed. He knew that the tears weren't because he was upset, but they were of realization of the care the woman had for Jimin. She didn't look resentful when he told her that Jimin wasn't coming, but she understood the feelings of her fiance all the while still protecting Jimin's reputation and putting in a good word for him. For all Jungkook knew, Jimin didn't come because he was too drunk to get on a flight altogether. But he still didn't know Jimin as Kyla did. Maybe, just maybe, Jimin didn't come because he really didn't want to spoil the day of one of the two people he cared about by stealing their thunder.
"It's okay," Alex said, now standing straight and beaming at Jungkook. "You are early, Jungkook. Come with us."
"I am early on purpose, actually," Jungkook now smiled and looked back, indicating the two men, who stood a little behind, to come in. "Kyla's brother told me how you two rebelled and came to the venue by yourself. I wanted to deliver Jimin's gift to you both."
Alex and Kyla looked at the men holding the big equipment and they exchanged confused looks with each other. "So..." Jungkook inhaled deeply. "Where do you want rainbows?"
Alex dumbly pointed behind their aisle towards the backdrop.
Jungkook indicated the men to get working. Within a few minutes, once the equipment was set and covered under the aisle, the artificial rain started and with the help of tiny refractors, rainbows popped out of them. Alex grabbed her mouth and tears cascaded down her eyes. She wanted a January wedding, but she was due for her delivery and Kyla wanted them to get married before that. Sadly, the rain didn't happen in Australia before December. "This is magical."
