Jungkook helped Kim Suzi get into her shoes and Jimin stared at him. It was the hollow look, yet so intimidating and terrifying that the assistant knew he was going to be orated for hours. Walking over to the man, Jungkook thought to explain before Jimin started exemplifying himself. "She needed help and I was standing right there."
"Really? What would you do if life closes the door of this chapter on you?"
"When life closes the door, open it again. It's how they work, Jimin. They are doors," Jungkook didn't know what came over him to be snarky, he really didn't mean to, but he somehow said it.
"Keep your ideologies in the dustbin and get rid of that motherfucker," Jimin pointed his gaze at Namjoon.
Jungkook turned around, fidgeting with his hands, knowing he could do his best with his rank as a personal assistant, but wouldn't be able to move Namjoon who was a big hot-shot producer. What he didn't understand was why the man always showed up here despite garnering so much loathe from Jimin. Jungkook needed help, Jungkook badly needed Ms. Saina.
Looking around and realizing that the lady was nowhere to be found, Jungkook cursed himself. "Hello, sir," he bowed at the older male as he approached him slowly. Namjoon sat over his black rocking chair.
"I was wondering when you'd show up, Jeon Jungkook... Right?" Namjoon turned towards Taehyung to confirm the name and the handsome man nodded his head mutely.
"May I please ask you to excuse yourself? Jimin wants to shoot the next scene without an audience."
"Nonsense," Namjoon chuckled, "He is still under my agency, Jungkook. He can't legally, even if he wants, get me out of here. I pay for everything you see here, including your coffee."
"But this isn't your movie. How can you still be paying for the other producer's movie?"
"The thing is, until and unless the bond is legally over, I do have a clause in my agreement that says that any benefit Jimin reaps from other works, I'm also a stakeholder in it."
"Then why don't you save yourself some money, because the sooner you leave, the quicker we will pack up." Out of anything that Jungkook had seen till now, he could be annoyed by Namjoon by just his severely adamant heeds.
"I think you aren't being used up to your true potential here, Jungkook. Have you ever thought of becoming an actor?" Namjoon now stood up, tucking his black sunglasses into the upper shirt pocket. The day was transitioning into the evening and the sun was setting. Jungkook felt the need to explain why he wasn't the best fit for an actor, but he didn't like Namjoon's tone, and he knew Jimin wouldn't appreciate it if he talked so causally with the producer.
"Look at your face," Namjoon suddenly stalked ahead, grabbing Jungkook's cheeks in one hand, squishing them, and moving the face side-to-side to speculate. "A born star."
Jungkook felt the hand flying away after someone hit it and he realized his rescuer was none other than Jimin. "Fucking leave before I stop working."
Namjoon chuckled at Jimin. "Calm down, honey. I was just asking your assistant if he was interested to become an actor. Wouldn't he give you a competition? Hm? Might I say, people need to see a fresh face, don't you think?"
"Thank you very much, but please keep your opinions in the dustbin." Jungkook voiced out, startling Jimin.
Humming, Jimin looked up and around, scratching his neck. Namjoon looked between the two and scoffed before turning around and leaving, letting Taehyung follow. Jimin now shot an impressed look at Jungkook. "Keep this pace of learning and you'll not be needing Ms. Saina."
