Kyla picked up a folder she has been preparing, detailing the handover of all her responsibilities to the newcomer. "He's waiting outside, Jimin. Should you be interested, you can meet us in the office."

"I am busy," Jimin emphasized and looked up from the script he was reading on his couch. "Ms. Saina." He mumbled softly before gesturing with his hand for her to leave.

The lady nodded, gripping the folder tighter before spinning on her heels and was out of the living room.

The young brown-haired man in a grey oversized sweatshirt and very baggy blue denim jeans waited in his white sneakers. A backpack was safely secured over his back while a trolley stand was clutched into his palm as he looked around at the paintings in the lobby of the house. Just as he saw the lady, he bowed quickly and flashed a smile at her. "Hello, Ms. Saina. I am Jeon Jungkook."

"Of course," Kyla held out her hand and Jungkook grabbed it quickly. "Did you fly alright?"

"I did," Jungkook confirmed instantly.

"Good."

Leading the way, the lady beckoned him towards a room situated across the lobby in a secluded corner. The whole place was made of glass, causing Jungkook to not really understand how did the actor manage his privacy. He wondered if Jimin really lived in this house.

After settling on the chair, Kyla pressed a buzzer that didn't sound like much, but Jungkook understood what it did when a lady knocked before entering the office with a tray, carrying a coconut water bottle, sparkling water, and a normal one. He picked one before she kept it on the table and thanked her.

"Jungkook," Kyla took in a deep breath as though she juggled to choose from many options in her head on how to begin. "Congratulations and welcome aboard."

Jungkook's nerves were shrinking as he choked on nothing in an attempt of spluttering out the words. "T-thanks." Mumbling out, he fixed his trolley aside along with his backpack.

"I am going to be very honest with you," the lady supplied the 22-year-old, wanting to rip off the band-aid as quickly as she could. She knew there was no alternate way to make Jungkook understand the work if she was to hide anything. "This job will demand a lot from you. Your days off will entirely depend on Jimin's days off, and if he needs you in, you will have to make yourself available on holidays."

"How often does that happen?" The bronde asked, stalling his fear by stifling a smile on his face.

"More than you can imagine," Kyla replied, scrunching her nose that made Jungkook chuckle with her nervously. "You will be sort of gatekeeper between Jimin and the outside world. Any fan mail, new contracts, meetings, basically anyone who wants to get in touch with Jimin will have to go through you. In a way, you hold a lot of power." The lady raised her brows cockily, that she was now ready to pass the baton to him.

"Understood," Jungkook knew this much. "What more do you do around here?"

"There is lots to do, Jungkook. I have to coordinate with Jimin's PR team, his stylists, his costume designers, his makeup artists, and his agency, although, that is a dead boat now, given Jimin has terminated the contract, we still have a lot of legal paperwork. I will explain that later," Jungkook kept nodding as the lady took a short breather before continuing. "You need to know how things run. Learn to delegate your work because we have a lot of people for everything around here. We have spot boys on the sets, runners with you while traveling, and maids in the house. You can take their help, but you have to know where to look for it."

"I get the idea," Jungkook assured and accepted the file that the lady suddenly handed to her. He opened it to glide his eyes over the pages and see the contact details of Jimin's therapist, his physician, dentist, and his sister on the first page.
