"What is this place?" Jungkook asked, a bag was attached to his back as he followed the direction.
"Looks like a party house. Brace yourself, Jungkook," Tiwi spoke, pulling her hoodie cap down to hide her face. "I didn't have to come. I can still go back."
"Noona, You are older than him. I can scold Jimin, you are still you. He would be terrified of you. Quit being a scaredy cat." Jungkook flinched hard when suddenly Jimin's voice blasted through the microphone.
"Who's there?"
Shit.
Tiwi jumped behind him as a reflex. The 23-year-old stood petrified as his stomach bubbled with emotions and his hands turned clammy. Hearing Jimin from the other side of the wall, realization struck him like a zap of thunderstrike. He was seconds away from seeing the man after almost four months, and he wasn't ready.
"Jungkook?" Jimin enunciated, and the younger one immediately jutted his chin up to see the camera in front of him.
"Great!" Tiwi whispered. "I thought you were the gutsy one."
The sound of the door being unlocked made Jungkook's heart race like anything. He stepped ahead when Tiwi made him. The 23-year-old stopped in front of the door while the lady took a cover of the wall. When the door started opening slowly, Jungkook bit his lips together, his hands shaking a little, but after the door pried ajar, revealing Jimin on the other side, a familiar cologne - that had a fresh recollection in Jungkook's mind - wafted roughly. Jungkook could only dare to look at the man's neck. No matter how hard he tried, his eyes wouldn't reach Jimin's.
The actor looked much healthier, and the velvet robe he wore had his chest peeking as he inched closer, tilting his head with a pretty and small smile. "I knew you would find me," Jungkook cleared his throat to speak, but the voice deserted him. Did Jimin even want to be found? He didn't know what to say. All he felt was anger, not just throwing-stuff kind of anger, but burning-the-place-to-ashes kind of rage. "Say something," Jimin urged, his eyes carrying something akin to fear and insecurity.
"Why didn't you contact me?" Jungkook whispered, at last, his chin quivering and jaws clenching.
Jimin courageously walked near, his hand tipped Jungkook's chin and made him look up while he managed to pull him close. "Can you forgive a selfish fucking asshole?" He asked and Jungkook's eyes widened. "Or your Hyung-ie? That is what you have been calling me all these days. Weren't you?"
Jungkook didn't say anything or move, staying still in Jimin's arms, just holding his breath and counting his heartbeats ringing in his ear.
"Jungkook, please tell me that you still love me," Jimin whispered, closing his eyes and sniffing the younger's hair, pulling him in his embrace.
"I don't," Jungkook shook his head slowly before gathering all his courage and pushing Jimin back, hard, against his own will. "I don't. I don't. I don't. How could you leave like a child? How could you fucking say that you love me and then disappear on me? You are a coward and so full of shit. You want people to dance on your command. You want everything your way or nothing at all!"
"I have other reasons of my own that I can't share with you, Jungkook," Jimin expressed, his voice turning liquid as he looked at the shaking younger.
Jungkook nodded his head slowly. "You monster!" Pressing his palms against the actor's chest, he pushed Jimin back. "You break hearts and you don't even stop to look back. You dare to ask me to tell you that I love you after you ignored my texts every damn day for three months straight?! I hate you Park Jimin, always have, always will!" Jungkook panted in his rage fit.
