Ella pov

I waited in the kitchen with Lucien, Iv been spending a lot of time with Lucien and Phoenix recently, they make me feel welcome and safe here, I'm staying here wether I like it or not and Iv learned to accept that, it's not like I'm living in a basement, I have Rosie who keeps me company, I have a gorgeous room with so many outfits, I have Netflix good food and of course an indoor pool, I guess they both make my stay even better.

Today Ambrose said he would take me riding this morning, if I'm honest I'm enjoying my time with Lucien, he's funny kind to me , and he's so beautiful to look at his face is so pale like he's never seen sun before, his eyes were as green as the grass although i swear sometimes they flashed red but maybe that's my imagination.

I found myself often staring at him as he spoken to me, his British accent was mesmerising, we was laughing and joking around when Ambrose cleared his throat " Ella. Are you ready?" His voice sounded somewhat irritated, I smiled to Lucien " I'll see you later Lucien" I stood and left with Ambrose, I was beginning to notice I fancy the pants off Lucien.

I followed him out in silence until we got to the stables, Toby And Diamond were tied up ready with their saddles on, I looked at how tall diamond was there's no way I'd be able to climb her, I put my foot on them things you put your feet into on the saddle and tried to pull myself up, I knew It was instant regret when I fell back down landing on my ass, Ambrose was roaring laughing before he pulled me up putting me right on the horse.

" just pull your reins lightly and she will move" ambrose said as he jumped onto Toby, he was huge a lot bigger than Diamond.

I pulled lightly and she followed Ambrose, he lead us into some woods for a while before he stopped at a stream to let the horses drink, " are you ready to go faster?" Ambrose said with a grin, I wasn't sure I was ready but I nodded anyway.

The horses galloped faster bringing us to a clearing, open field that looked like it ran for miles and miles, Ambrose pulled hard on his reins and Toby galloped faster, I pulled diamonds reins a little harder trying to catch up to him, something spooked her and she bucked sending me flying over her, I landed on the soft grass I didn't immediately notice I was bleeding until Ambrose rushed over holding my wrist up watching as the blood rushed downwards, he looked away and I swear his eyes went red just like Lucien's " your eyes. Why? Never mind" I shook my head I sound crazy maybe it's the sunlight, I felt a gust of wind I looked up and Ambrose had left.

I stood up confused no sight of him or Toby, how? What the fuck just happened? Convinced I somehow banged my head I lead diamond back into the woods to try find my way back, how and why has Ambrose left me? How the fuck do I get back? I carry on walking back when I hear a branch snap, quickly turning round I find Giuseppe stood there looking at me, " I'm so glad you've found me. I I I have no idea where Ambrose is I was worried I wouldn't find my way back"

" yes. Ambrose is... well he's not into blood. He rode back. To get away from you.. he sent me. Now give me the horse and you can leave.. to your old life" Giuseppe said walking towards me, he took diamond off me jumped on and galloped away, I was confused angry and scared, my heart was racing with the unknown of being out in the open.

I walked and walked, it got darker and darker. I wandered deeper and deeper into the woods everywhere was like a maze, everything looked the same, i lost my balance at a steep edge my legs went from under me and I fell down an embankment, hitting my head on a rock.

I was in and out of consciousness, I felt someone pick me up bridle style I couldn't open my eyes my head hurt, then a heard a voice and I instantly felt safe it was Lucien, " stay with me Ella. Please. We're almost there"

Still not fully awake, lucien places me somewhere soft and warm he takes my wet clothes off and covers me up, he lifts my head up and pours warm liquid into my mouth, can't describe the taste but Iv never tasted anything like it before, it tasted strange Metallic even, then a wonderful sleep took over.
