" she won't come out of her room. She's really blaming herself for killing those humans" I explained to Katrina who's been helping me understand Ellas new found power.

" you see lucien. Ella is pure her heart is white which is heightened as a Phoenix. Iv done horrible things my heart isn't white. What Ella has is truly a gift. She's mourning for the lives she's taken. She needs time" Katrina explained, it seems people have white hearts and black hearts, hearts are darkened by sins the darker the heart the more evil the person.

Here still I had to keep an eye on Emily who still wasn't great around Humans.

I was sat at the kitchen island chatting with Katrina when Rosie comes rushing in " Ella is not in her room. I went in with her favourite snacks and well.. she's gone. Iv checked the whole house. I can't find her"

" the protection spell? I thought nobody could leave?"

Rosie shook her head " no it prevents anyone getting in but anyone can leave. Also Natalie has gone too"

This can't be good, I have a feeling Ella has gone to find Ambrose taking Natalie with her, then again she wouldn't want to get Natalie involved so that doesn't make sense.

" Ella wouldn't let nat go with her. So that's strange" I explained I know Ella wouldn't want to put her friend in danger.

" I can sense where she is but unfortunately not the exact location" Katrina said as she closed her eyes.

Everyone waited for what felt like an eternity " it looks like she's in aspen but I'm not sure I saw A man, Also I felt danger"

Katina described the man she saw and it sounds like Giuseppe, how could she be so stupid, it's dangerous. They don't even have their humanity's on.

Before I could even act on this information Emily comes walking in drinking from a blood bag, I for one had told her not to do that, Katrina looks between me and Emily " is this your daughter?" Katrina asks with curiosity.

I nodded " this is Emily. she's a new born vampire. Born wolf with dormant vampire side until she died. We think she's the only kind"

Katrina smiles " she's not. Listen I didn't mention before as I didn't feel the need but I run a school. A boarding school for children who are supernatural. I can help with blood thirst control and find her a wolf pack. I have two other children under the age of 10 who are like Emily, their vampire side dormant until death. Before we discuss this I'd like to find Ella"

I couldn't believe what Katrina was saying a school? A special school for children like her, Katrina definitely looked like a teacher the way she dressed in all back, I was feeling hopeful that Emily would find some of her kind where she would fit in.

Katrina described the surroundings she saw and I knew exactly where they were, Ambrose had a club in Aspen run by vampires for vampires, that's where they were. I had a bad feeling about this how could Ella be so stupid now that she's pregnant, yes she can heal herself but she still doesn't know the extent of her powers.

Kate had left so Iv had no choice but to bring her along, everyone had to be here Incase of the dangers.
We arrived at the club and I left Emily in the car with Agnes, Katrina could feel Ella here so we were in the right place.

I looked inside the club while Katrina went outside with Rosie, I seen Ambrose sat at his bar I stood by his side " where's Ella? We know she's here" I asked him, he looked at me and downed his drink " I have no idea I haven't seen her, You best get her home. Giuseppe will be back soon. You know she's dead if he sees her and there's nothing I can do" he said this with a straight face that damn humanity switch.

Giuseppe appears by my side blood flowing down his chin he grins when he sees me " you know they say a blood of a Phoenix makes a vampire stronger and right now I feel magnificent" he grinned, my blood ran cold and I heard screaming, I ran outside where the screams come from, Ellas neck is just healing and at her feet lays Natalie, I bit my wrist and poured blood down her throat before paramedics picked her up and took her in the back of an ambulance " what's happened here? I heard a paramedic speak to Rosie, before I knew it Ella was lumbered into the back of the Ambulance she had collapsed.

I hurried over to the car with Agnes and Emily in, quickly following behind, looking through the rear mirror I saw Katrina and Rosie speaking to Alice outside the club, hopefully sort that fucker out before I do.

I rushed into the ER with Emily behind me, I watched as Emily grew hungry looking at the blood bags, I didn't think about all the blood at the hospital I'm so stupid, as quick as lightening I see Emily run into a side room it all happened in slow motion, Emily attacked Natalie I tried to get Emily off Natalie but she flew me into the the wall, I'd forgotten how strong a new born vampire is when feeding, I closed my eyes " I'm sorry darling" and I snapped Emily's neck, it's the only way I could stop her it's not like she's dead, she'll just wake up later with a sore head, i placed her slump body on the sofa in the corner of the room, I don't know how to handle this situation, I'm not cut out to be a father to a new born vampire.

I realised that Natalie wasn't breathing, Emily had killed her. I quickly shut the the door and panicked I had to clean her body up, what would Ella say? I decided I'd tell her she died through Giuseppe, I quickly wiped the floor where all her blood had spilt, the door handle moved and someone tried to get in, I locked it but the door was shoved open and I realised it was Ella, she looked at the scene and then Emily lay there slumped, she put her hand up at her mouth in shock and ran to Natalies side " omg what's happened? Did Emily do this?" Ella cried " how? How Lucien tell me ?"

I didn't know what to say. I just shook my head speechless, then I noticed Natalies hand move and her eyes open oh fuck I fed her my blood before. " erm Ella. I think Natalie is a vampire. I fed her blood to heal her before and well she died"

Ella stood up and looked at me in disgust " how could you let this happen? Emily was suppose to be under control Lucien. Now my best friend is a vampire"

I run my hand through my hair, I didn't know how to handle this situation, " Phonix is best with new borns. He'll need to train her. All will be fine Ella". I tried to calm the situation but Ella looked at me so Angry.

" how lucien? You've fucked up again. Bringing Emily into a hospital full of blood bags. If your own daughter isn't capable of being a normal around you then how is Natalie? I don't even want to look at you!" Ella snapped at me, she was clearly angry but her words were harsh.

Natalie sat up and looked around the room " everything is so beautiful. I'm so confused how am I a vampire?" Natalie asked as she looked around " why arnt I burning when the sun is shining on me?"

I explain to her all she needs to know I'll leave Phoenix to help her, I know I created her but Iv got enough with Emily, who I now need to get out of a hospital with lots of blood in before she wakes up, Kate is going to freak, perhaps it's a good idea I talk her into letting Emily go back with Katrina.
