Ella pov

Chatting to Alice I was telling her about my dream to be a children's doctor, she encouraged me to join the local university so Iv decided to enrol, Lucien has compelled the school without me knowing and I'll he starting my first class tomorrow, I'm so exited I'm one step closer to doing what I love, I felt so lucky to have my foot in the door to start and do something Iv always wanted to do, but one thing hung over me, how could I concentrate on school when ambrose is still out there with that lunatic? Maybe carrying on with my life is for the best.

Natalie was coming round today, luckily when I was missing, well captured in Kadax basement  Lucien had been in contact with her pretending due to the pregnancy I was in denial and didn't want to see anyone, I guess he found out about her through Ambrose. I had a lot of making up to do, I could get Lucien to compel her but I feel like I'd of taken away  her human rights why should I make her forget I basically went awol.

I headed downstairs just as I was on the last step I was knocked back " auntie Ella auntie Ella" a  small voice came, I smiled  when I realised it was Emily, this small vampire is very strong, I picked her up and  gave her a kiss " nice to see you to Em" I put her down and she ran off skipping " sorry about her, she really likes you" Kate smiled, I'm not a bitter person but she always made me feel, I don't know on edge? She's Lucien's ex girlfriend who keeps trying to rekindle whatever they had before, yes ok I'm jealous of that, I don't know why, ever since regaining my memories I just felt like I don't know, I can't really explain it's a weird feeling that I just can't shake.

I sat at the kitchen island as Kate spoke to Lucien, she kept putting her hand on his moving closer, he stepped away and sat next to me, he pulled me for a hug " how you feeling little miss Phoenix" he joked, I leaned my head onto his shoulder, I seen her stiffen she didn't like what she saw. " I'm good. Looking forward to seeing Nat today.. do we have any more leads on Ambrose? I had a feeling  it was a no, but I wanted to ask I needed to know, Iv been doing my own leads on the amount of bodies found in certain places, Iv heard about Giuseppe even with his humanity on he doesn't really  care for the human life and is dangerous.

He shook his head " no but Alice has gone to see another lead. She wanhed to go alone. The encounter she had with him last time wasn't what she was expecting. His humanity is off he won't care about anything... except you Ella, he told me not to mention you.. I think he's trying to keep you safe from Giuseppe"

This revolution made me hopeful, I want him home before our son is born, I don't know what I'm walking into with this child, Nobody has any knowledge of a vampire having a child with a Phoenix, but then again look Emily she's a remarkable child both vampire and wolf.

The doorbell rang and I knew instantly nat was here, I rushed to the door and Rosie had already answered it, Nat threw her arms around me " wow you've gotten so big. I forgive  you now by the way" she grinned looking me up at down, she touched my hair " you've dyed your hair? Your glowing you look beautiful Ella. I love the orangey red hair. You look so different. Pregnancy is definitely for you"

" I wanted a change.. anyone fancy hitting the club? Ella I know your pregnant but I thought you could do with letting  your hair down relaxing having a laugh" Rosie said waving a dress in my face " this dress i perfect for your pregnant stomach. Floaty and comfortable" Rosie grinned.

I rolled my eyes and agreed, I do fancy dancing the night away while them two drink themselves silly.
