Ella pov

I wake up looking around, I scowl when I realise I'm not in my own bed, then memories of the last night came flooding back sleeping with Ambrose, I felt my cheeks blush Iv been wanting to sleep with him for a while now the attraction is immense, he's not in the bed so where is he? I decide to go find him his office is next to his bedroom so I look their first, I wait at the door as I hear Ambrose talking, I can't hear any other voices so I assume he's on the phone.

I listen so I know the right moment to knock on but what I heard upset me " Iv told her she can leave father. Do you think I'd want a human to love? Don't listen to Giuseppe father she was just my prisoner now her father has thankfully died she can leave" Hearing Ambrose speak to poorly of me cut me like a knife, did last night mean nothing to him? Why do they all refer to us as humans? such a weird family, I decide to grab my stuff and leave, I didn't want to be here if that's how he thought of me, after all he said I can leave now my father is dead, I guess I need to arrange a funeral anyway.

I shoved some clothes in a bag I found my bank cards, I quickly and quietly left the house I walked down the dirt track which felt like miles, finally reaching the road I headed down now and again holding my thumb out for a car to hopefully stop, after around 15 minutes of walking a car pulled over opening the door I realised it was my friend Natalies mom Kelly. " Jesus Ella. Where have you been?" She asked as I climbed in, " thank you for stopping Kelly. I have been staying with a friend. Now I need to get home and arrange my fathers funeral" I said putting my head down, I hope our apartment is still ok.

Kelly agreed to take me home under one condition I see Natalie, i just disappeared Lucien said my father told people I was staying with family, she will be so pissed I haven't been in contact. I agree and we stopped to pick her up we got me a cell phone and me and Natalie headed to my apartment, I ended up telling Natalie the truth where I really was, why I was staying with this big bad business loan lender that's what he's known locally as.

Natalie through her arms around me " I'm so sorry I was pissed at you Ella . I had no idea you was pretty much kidnapped . I get it wasn't all bad he cared for you but you was still a prisoner. We should go tothe cops"

I shake my head " no it's ok. I'm here now I want to forget" I try to smile, I was hurting because of his words he clearly didn't care for me as I did to him.

2 weeks later and it's my fathers funeral, I stood outside the church which was full of mourners, I wasn't sure I could handle this, I know he did horrible things especially to my mother but he was my father and I loved him.

As I was about to enter someone grabs my arm, I quickly turn round and it's Giuseppe, startled I try to stand away from him he grins at me " Hello Ella" I look around maybe Ambrose is with him, he laughs " nobody is here.. I made sure of that. Don't you worry" Giuseppe steps closer, why is this guy so fucking weird.

" Iv got my fathers funeral to get through. Excuse me" I try to leave but he grabs me " what is your problem? Let me go" I drag my arm from his grip he puts something over my head and I'm picked up and put into a car or something " let me go" i struggle, someone smacks my head off something and everything goes blank.

Once Iv regained consciousness I can't open my eyes, I feel something attached to my hand I force my eyes open and see a nurse messing with a drip " what's going on?" I'm confused where am I?

" don't worry dear it'll be over very soon" the nurse smiles, I look at my arm and the wires " why are you taking my blood?" I pull on the wires And try to pull the drip thing from out my hand but the nurse stops me " stop dear. Your blood is for Giuseppe. He needs your blood"

I'm feeling faint probably from the lack of
Blood , I'm confused why does he need my blood? Everything around me becomes blurry and I lose focus.
