Phoenix.

We was heading to the campus where Ambrose was last spotted, there's a council party the plan is I'm going to shape shift into Ella she's technically a founding family of the council like her mother and Fathers Side of her family, that's the plan get me inside and find Ambrose, Giuseppe can stay behind he's caused all this mess he can rot in hell.

The thing is Ella doesn't know her mother knows about vampires, she doesn't know she's from the LaBella and Bruce side of the council the very first founding families, 'Ella' will be very much welcome.

Rosie is on standby she's withdrawing the spell that surrounds the building which stops any supernatural from leaving, I watch as Rosie closes her eyes and mumbles the smell, I can see the impact it's having on her with such strong magic, I enter the grounds with Lucien and I'm shape shifted into Ella now , as i approach the door Lucien goes around the side so he can listen in, he needs to be able to act quick Incase I need help, I hope this plan works the council are known for treating us Vamps like test subjects even the good ones.

I knock at the door and a older woman answers, she puts her hand to her mouth in surprise " Ella Labella? Or have you taken your fathers name now? Dear I didn't see you at your fathers funeral. Please come in" the woman says with warmth, I can tell she's not the nice woman she's portraying to be.

The woman passes me a drink first, I can smell opium poppy, she's testing me to see if I'm a vampire the good thing about my powers are if I don't shift into another vampire I don't have my vampire traits so my body won't react the same to the plant as it would in my form. I smile and drink the drink " oh wow does this have strong herbs in?" I dumbly ask

I see her relax and she smiles " it's just strong tea dear. Come we are having a party. I'm sure you know since your here. Lots of your family are here too Ella. By now you know your family secrets. Yes?" She woman goes straight in now.

I smiled I knew Travis Bruce never knew about the council side I'm certain her mother did. I don't think know she knows about the Phoenix side " yes I was informed. I wanted to attend today to see if I could be of Any use?"

The woman grabs my shoulder and looks into my eyes cocking her head the the side, as if trying to read me before smiling " right this way Ella" the woman leads me out into a busy room, I slyly scan the room for any glimpse of a vampire, the council are known for having vampires on display, many sell the blood for medical reasons, on the sly of course, it would be frowned up on by the council community to be using a ' disgusting' creature like myself for their own selfish gains.

I try to listen as the woman talks to another woman about Ambrose, to hear her admit that she hired those men to find the weapon that would kill little Emily boils my blood, she knows they are missing feared dead, I can lip read she wants ambrose to die slowly, I feel like shaping back to myself and killing her myself.

I hate how My hearing isn't as great as it would be in my own form, I do gain some of Ellas powers although hearing is not one of them, I mingle for a while meeting some of Ellas distant family members, one introduced me as Noelle Labella who I'm shocked is a vampire, I can feel her she's an older one, vampire part of the council? How? I watch her as she talks to other members, I stand at the buffet table and collect some food on a plate listening to her conversation.

I freeze when I feel her cold hand on my shoulder, I knew instantly it was Noelle she squeezed my shoulders " your here for Ambrose dear I know you've become a Phoenix now " she whispers down my ear, I freeze in place shit, what do I say? " I will help you. If you help me. I'm here for my daughter Pearl . Now Ella I won't hurt you. I'm your ancestor. I need your blood first"

I need think now, I may gain down if Ellas powers but the special blood she has, no I won't get that it's sacred to her veins and her veins only. " I'm not Ella. I'm a vampire shape shifter trying to get ambrose back"

She looked shocked, possibly because she couldn't tell she didn't pick up on it, she looked at me and squinted " your Phoenix The one who can shape shift?? I remember you. You can shape shift into any living thing. Now your inside why don't you turn into a cat? Get yourself to the cells and let them out? She asked as if that's the most easiest thing to do. But it's not how do we get them out?

" I can teleport. But not inside. It's spelled nothing supernatural can use their powers. Well I guess I answered my own question about your shifting into a cat"

Rosie is taking the spell down any minute now, I told Noelle my plan, we wandered to the toilets and she was able to teleport us into the cells, Rosie's spell had worked but she warned us the spell wouldn't be down for long.

As I stood in the row of cells I sensed the vampires in each of the cells, some had given up and lost fight, a guard shouted at us for being down here, " find my daughter " Noelle shouted before she vamped sped out taking the guard with her, god knows what her plan is.

I searched the cells, looking for her daughter and Ambrose, I unlocked each cell as I went past, no vampire shall stay here. I found a young girl who happened to be Pearl I let her out telling her that her mother is here looking for her, as I'm searching the cells I realised then that Noelles plan was a fire, Fire kills vampires is that the best she could come up with?

" Ella! Ella? I'm so sorry for what I did please let me out" I look and see is Giuseppe begging at the cell doors, I turned to him and spat at the door " I'm in this mess because of you" I decided not to tell him I wasn't Ella, although I'd of thought the non pregnant stomach would of given it away. " you can rot in hell or should I say burn in hell because this hell hole is on fire"

I looked next to Giuseppes sell and saw Ambrose sat on the floor with his head between his legs, I opened his door and ran to his side, he looked up at me and shook his head " leave Ella. I'm not worth saving. Let me burn. I smell the fire"

I shook my head " Ambrose your weak. You need to feed and get out of here" looking At him made me angry, I know his humanity is off but I still want to tell him he needs to feed, he's weak they've been feeding him Opium poppy to keep him weaker but no enough to knock him out.

I left the cells and found an unconscious guard half eaten by the other vampires, I dragged his body to Ambrose cell and throw him on him, he looked at him and dived at the guard ripping into him devouring his blood, we needed to be quick now.

Lucien appeared at my side " what's taking you so long? The fucking place is on fire. Come on" Lucien pulled Ambrose up and he stumbled so I grabbed one arm and we both helped him out, I looked back at Giuseppe who was screaming and shouting, Lucien stopped and looked at him " Rot in hell you evil fucker. I'd kill you myself but fire would hurt a lot more"

I stopped and grinned " bye fucker" and carried on taking him out, we stumbled out of the fire as Rosie moved the flames out of our way so we could escape.

Once outside we quickly injected Opium poppy into Ambrose to knock him out, finally get him back home where Alice can sort him out, hopefully get his humanity on.
