Phoenix stumbled in with a human guy around his arm, " who is this P?" I asked annoyed, I had to get Rosie to get Ellas human friend out, Emily is finding it hard again around humans, I don't want my daughter to hurt anyone.

Phoenix smiled " it's my food.. I mean date" before winking and heading up the stairs, I shake my head and followed upstairs to my room, I needed an update from Alice as to where she's at with Ambrose she had a plan and I hoped it worked.

Kate knocks at the door and walks in closing the door, she comes up to me and kisses me, I was shocked so I pushed her off me " Kate. What are you doing?"

She looked taken back by me pushing her off me " oh come what? I'm not little miss perfect Ella? I don't like her Lucien. She's dangerous for us. You need me"

" don't talk about her like that Kate. What's your problem?" She's over stepping the mark now. She looked at me walking round the room " I don't like her. Why do you care so much about her? She's pregnant to your cousin. I mean talk about second best. We could be good together again. Luce"

I shook my head " I care about Ella. Morning noon and night, I love that girl. Kate we are over. There's nothing more to say" I opened the door for her to leave " now go look after Emily. There's a human in the house"

Kate started taking her clothes off " come on you know you want me. Don't lie since Iv been around your mate Mark has disappeared. Don't think I haven't noticed. We can have another baby" Kate said as the pulled her top off, I ran to her grabbing her by the throat and pushing her body into the wall, she's breathless smiling at me " I knew you wanted me" she went to kiss me and I gripped her tighter " my mate mark has disappeared because of Ella. Don't push your luck Kate. You will leave and Emily will stay. Don't piss me off" I let her go while she caught her breath and I left the room, I heard her shouting stuff but she's made me angry, disregarding my feelings for Ella.

I hear someone trying the doors around the house, so I creep outside and see a woman slowly walking around the outside of the house, I vamp speed In front of the woman who doesn't even jump when she sees me, " who are you?" She had the same magnificent hair colour as Ella, I knew she was also Phoenix she looked similar to Ella which made wonder if they were related.

She smiled " I'm Katrina. Looking for Ella. I am her ancestor. The only living Phoenix in our line well apart from Ella now. Where is she?"

"She's out" I wasn't sure wether to trust her or not at this point.

" there's some things that are important since she's spending time with vampires" she looked at me with disgust as she spoke to me.

She wouldn't tell me what , but I could tell she didn't trust me, I touched her hand giving her a glimpse of my memories with Ella, she will know she can trust me then, when I let go she looked at me shocked " she's pregnant? With a vampire?" The woman looked worried .

" how has she been? Vampires can't control their thirst for Phoenix blood. Our blood is pure it gives vampires more power. If she's pregnant and the baby is a vampire it could start to drain her. Ultimately killing her.. for good though. With a Phoenix the only true way to kill one is by the same family blood." The woman sounded serious.

" not only that but if word gets out to the vampire world she'll be hunted. Although she won't die she can become a personal vampires blood bag. Iron weakens a Phoenix it burns us. This could be used to control Ella. Can you get her home?"

I agreed and we both went inside, I thought this would all stop but it's only going to get worse, I need Rosie to get Ella home and put a protection spell on the house.
