"How's it looking?" Eddie asks, peeking his head through the bathroom door.

"Still nothing. It hasn't been two minutes yet," I reply, staring at the pregnancy test on the counter.

"This is the longest two minutes of my life. Ollie keeps asking for you, by the way."

"Is he okay? What's he wanting?"

"He won't tell me. He just keeps saying he wants you."

I leave the bathroom and head into our bedroom, finding Ollie sitting on our bed. A little giggle escaping him when he sees me.

"What's up, Ollie?"

"I want a hug. You have been gone for ages, mommy."

"Oh, I'm sorry baby. Come here."

Ollie jumps up on the bed and runs towards me, leaping into my arms. I squeeze him in a hug as Eddie appears behind me, wrapping his arms around us both.

"Is that all Ollie wanted? A hug. I could've given you a hug," Eddie says over my shoulder.

"I wanted a mommy hug, not a daddy hug. Silly daddy," Ollie says whilst wrapping his arms around my neck.

"Oh, I'm a silly daddy, am I?" Eddie asks and he starts tickling Ollie, making him giggle and squirm in my arms.

"Stop, daddy. It tickles," Ollie screams.

"Nuh uh. You know you've got to say the words and I'll stop."

"Daddy is the best guitarist in the world. He's the best daddy ever."

"Don't you forget it, little one."

I let out a little chuckle and turn to face Eddie once he stops tickling Ollie.

"Hey, could you check the test? It should be done by now."

"Sure."

He walks back into the bathroom and I hear him pick the test up from the counter. He's silent for a moment before he speaks up.

"Hey, Lyssa?"

"Yeah?"

"What does two lines mean?"

He appears from the bathroom, holding the test up at me. Two lines clearly showing on the test screen.

"Eddie, it means we're pregnant."

"We're pregnant?"

"Yes, Eddie. We're having another baby. A little brother or sister for little Ollie."

Ollie squeals in my arms as Eddie comes over to me, dropping the test on the dresser. He pulls me into his arms, being careful not to squish Oliver. He tenderly places his lips on mine, smiling all the way through our kiss.

Eddie sits next to me on the bench as we watch our children play. Our little boy Ollie and our little girl Penny. Their curly hair reminding me so much or their father's.

"And you thought we weren't going to be good parents, Lyssa," Eddie says as he wraps an arm around my shoulder. "I'd say we're doing pretty good."

"In all honesty, Eddie, we were smoking weed to cope with what happened to us. Weed and parenting don't really go together," I reply, leaning my head onto Eddie's shoulder.

"We stopped when we found out you were pregnant with Ollie though. We haven't touched it since."

"I know. We've done what we can to be good parents."

"Because we love and care for them. Our little babies."

"Yeah, we do."

"So, I was thinking-"

"No."

"You don't even know what I'm going to ask."

"You're going to ask if I want another baby."

"And your answer is no?"

"As much as I am tempted to let you put another baby in me-"

"You're tempted?"

"Eddie, two is enough."

"Not for me. I want seven."

"Seven? That's very specific. Why seven?"

"I don't know. I just want to have an entire house full of our babies. I very much enjoy getting you pregnant."

"You want another baby then you can be the one to squeeze it out."

"Oh, come on Melissa."

"Eddie..."

"Fine, I'll drop it, but I'll keep asking. You'll say yes eventually."

"You're that confident, huh?"

"Definitely. You love those kids and you love me. Plus, you love the sex we have."

"Sex that can't be rough when I'm pregnant, Eddie. I'll just remind you about that."

"I can live with that. Nice and slow is just as good."

"That's a lie."

"Yeah, that's a lie. Being rough hits different. More primal. Hotter."

"Keep talking like that and we'll have to cut this trip to the park short."

"I'll save it for later then. I'll promise you that."

"I look forward to it."

"You drive me crazy, Lyssa."

He turns to face me, a small smile on his lips.

"I know. I do it on purpose," I say with a smirk. "Hey, Eddie, when are you leaving us to go on tour?"

"I keep telling you, you're all coming with. I can't be away from my family for an entire month," Eddie says adamantly.

"And how's that going to work? We've been okay before, we will still be okay."

"This is longer though, Lyssa. I don't want to be away from you guys for so long."

"Call us every morning when you get up. We'll be right there on the other side of the phone waiting for you."

"It won't be the same. I want to wake up to your face and be attacked by the kids as soon as I walk through their bedroom door."

"It's going to suck without you, Eddie. But, this is a good thing for you. You're becoming famous. More known. People love your music."

"I know. Its been my dream. I've worked on this for 4 years since being recognised by that talent agency. This is something I can actually enjoy doing and I love that. But, I love you guys more."

"Eddie, don't let us pull you away from your dreams. You'll come to resent us if that happens. I don't want that. We'll be fine for a month."

"If they try to make it longer, I'm saying no."

"That's fine. Just promise me you won't cut it short just because you miss us."

I hold my pinky out to Eddie and he looks at me. I can see him hesitating, but he exhales, grabbing my pinky in his and shaking.

"I promise."
