"What do you make of this Bella?" Aziraphale asked fretfully. "I haven't seen anything like this
since….""Since you yourself were expecting?" Bella said with a warm smile. She had taken the worried father to a corner of the room where they could talk quietly.
"You mean….?" Aziraphale's worry was replaced with a surge of joy when Bella nodded.
"I know pregnancy when I see it, I've been through it myself after all. She's just got a case of morning sickness that will pass with time."
"Oh what a relief…." Aziraphale rasped. "My Little One is going to have a baby!"
"As for the fever, you have the recipes from my mother of herbal teas that'll help with this sort of thing as well as nausea and the swelling in her ankles."
Aziraphale nodded. "Yes, yes of course." Aziraphale was blinking tears out of his eyes. He was so happy….
"Papa, Bella? Is something wrong?" Eden called from the bed.
"Would you like me to tell her?" Bella asked softly. Aziraphale shook his head. "I'll tell her. If it's not too much trouble, can you tell Crowley and Gabriel to wait out in the hall for a bit longer?"
Bella nodded as she left the room. "Thank you very much my dear." Aziraphale said as Bella exited the room.
Aziraphale closed the door and returned to Eden’s side.
"Papa? Why do you look so happy?"
"Little One, there's nothing wrong with you. Everything is tickety boo…."
"Papa, you're crying." Tears streamed down the angel's face as he replied.
"I had hoped that this day would come, and it has. I'm so happy for you and Gabriel."
"Papa, what are you talking about? I don’t understand…."
"You're going to be a mother, my dearest."
"Ngk." said Eden
