Chapter Ten: In Right Place, Wrong Time

Shan POV:

As soon as we enter the room, I took my clothes to change him because he was wet.

He has already changed, I don't know why I feel that he is cute when he wears my clothes.

Marvin asks me what's going to happen there in his picture.

I tell him that he can't do anything since the client already printed them without asking him.

I know he isn't happy about this and I say he isn't either because his name is listed on the flyer as the photographer.

Marvin takes offense at my rudeness and asks me why I took his picture in the first place, but I repeat my lie was only taking pictures and he got in the way.

Marvin is now furious that I won't apologize or do anything about the picture and eventually storms out after we argue some more.

I made it worse instead of making us okay.

My mind didn't want to operate on my mouth so he got even more annoyed with me. When it thundered again and he covered his ears, I lent him my headset.

He was about to remove the headset when I touched his hand.

No one wants to talk to us, I don't want to talk because I feel it will only upset him more.

Later he removed the headset and returned it to me.

"I'll just return your clothes tomorrow," said Marvin as he abruptly opens the door.

Punpun asks him if he's okay, but he runs off.

Punpun says that getting sued will set me right.

"Didn't I tell you to delete it but you didn't," I walk out and Ice tells me that Marvin was cute and if he was single.

I say to him that Marvin has a girlfriend and he says it's a shame.

Ice says it broke his heart to see a beautiful man like Marvin who already has a girlfriend, causing Punpun to tell him that he always falls for beautiful men or women.

She then brings up how Ice got dumped one month after he lent a girl money.

Ice then mentions he has a patient waiting for him and runs off to avoid talking about it further.

Ice, who is a doctor, is meeting with a patient to convince him to take medicine.

The next day I am trying to do something about it and meet with the advertiser to find out why the picture is being used without my permission.

The advertiser, however, is just interested in Marvin and wants to meet him.

"Don't you know that he is a famous chef in all of Thailand and other countries as well," said the client, and I bring up how he's upset that his face is being spread all over the city, which amuses Punpun.

The advertiser says he's willing to apologize and recall the flyers, but after seeing him he had an inspiration for an ad campaign based on the Cinderella story.

As we're driving back, Punpun is trying to convince me to go through with the ad campaign, but I refuse to budge.

Punpun then says she was surprised that I would stand up for Marvin, causing me to tell her to be quiet again.

I was thinking about how to apologize to Marvin without looking rude to him.

Later I got a call from my mother and she sent me to our house.

I told Punpun that we were going to my parent's house.

When we got there, I saw my nieces running.

The others are busy with their cell phones.

I remembered that today is our family day so my sisters-in-law are also here.

I waved to them and even caught up with my father and his grandchildren playing House of Terror: Valerie's Revenge (VR)

My two older brothers and our youngest girl were also there.

We do this once a month when we have a family party.

No matter how busy we are, we should still have time for family.

My father is not only a businessman but also a painter.

I have seen my father's paintings and he draws his subjects very beautifully.

My father is also good at singing, my mother said that my father used to have a band with his friends Uncle Pete and Uncle Chan.

We used to ask our mother if she was my father's first love, and she said no, but my father said yes.

My mother said that it was because my father forgot because of the accident.

My father said that he still loves our mother and that will never change.

Today their marriage is still happy and strong.

My brothers and sister-in-law shared many stories.

Then the conversation turned to me.

"I'd rather be single," I told them.

"Okay, we're supportive," said my father.

Later I saw Marvin and Jay on the tv monitor.

"That's also what fake news does," said my mother.

"Mom, P'Marvin and P'Jay are perfect," said our youngest sister.

"They don't fit," I said and said goodbye to them.

I went home and lost my fun when my friends called.

Later I went to the club and saw my friends.

I hang out at a club where my friends are saying I seem pretty popular now because my pictures are everywhere. One of the girls starts hitting on me, but I gently push her away.

My friends then ask me what's the matter because I'm not been my normal self lately. I tell them to be quiet and I just been thinking.

I played the loner role and talked to myself while drinking.

The girl that hit on me earlier comes back and asks what type of girl I like.

I tell her that she needs to have good proportions and be fashionable, which of course prompts the girl to say that that's so her.

I then asks her if she likes corny jokes or lakorn and if she was the cussword ringtone that my ideal type should be able to connect with me in music, fashion, and art.

Marvin then flashes into my mind and he suddenly decides to leave.

As I's leaving, he gets a call from Punpun saying that the advertiser has decided that since I don't want to work with Marvin, he'll work with my rival

I tell her not to give it out because he'll just play with him.
