She Is Back

Chapter Twenty-Four: She Is Back

(Shan POV)

I'm busy working with Punpun and some other models. Punpun says that I only talk to her during shoots and brings up that I promised her a day off still.

"Yes, after this, you can take a day off," I said as I looked at the pictures I took.

Later he asked Ice.

Even if I want Ice and I to get back together, I can't because of Nong'Tina.

I know that Ice is not guilty of what his younger sister did, that's why our friendship has become rifted.

He is still one of my best men. But Ice prefers to stay away from me because he says he's ashamed of me and he can't forgive himself for what Nong'Tina did to us, especially to Marvin.

When we meet, we are casual with each other but Ice doesn't last long and he leaves.

It's just like when we met our friends.

"Are you and Ice still okay?" asked one of our friends.

I didn't immediately answer his question and they just let me go. Their only wish is that Ice and I will be okay.

I first lived there in my parent's house while my house was renovated.

After the photoshoot, I went to see Marvin. We out grocery shopping.  I reminds him that it was his birthday next week, but he says that he can only concentrate on one thing at a time and be focused on the wedding.  I tell him that it’s his first birthday since we got back together so I want to do something for him.

He said that it was okay not to celebrate his birthday, it was more important to be with him.

After I touched him at their house, I went straight to my parent's house.

I even caught up with my father in the dining room drinking red wine.

My father asked me if I was going to go through with the wedding, even knowing my feelings for Marvin. I say that if it was anyone else, I wouldn't do it, and asks my father if he'll let me have his time with Marvin.

"Son, you know that even though Nong'Marvin's mother and I had a past, you are out of it. I will not hinder the love between the two of you. I am just worried for you." my father said as he grabbed my shoulder.

"Dad, let's pass the tests that were given to us. Our marriage will be happy. There is no Tina or Gulf to mess up our relationship with Marin," I said to my father.

Later I got an unknown number and I didn't answer it even though it was a while ago.

Later I received a text that if I didn't answer his call, something bad would happen to Marvin.

So I immediately called Marvin when he answered my call I was on the phone nothing bad happened to him. Fortunately, he was with his family.

I just told him that I miss him and he just laughed at me saying that it was only five minutes before I took him to their house.

After I made sure that nothing bad happened to Marvin, I said goodbye to him. At the same time,  my cell phone again.

I immediately answered my phone and just by hearing the voice, I knew the person I was talking to on the other line was Nong'Tina.

"It's good that you answered my call. I thought you would ignore my call." when she was cute she said to me.

I didn't have time to talk to her when I was about to end my call when she yelled at me not to end her call but he couldn't guarantee that I would see Marvin again.

She just wants to talk to me because he misses me so much. Don't ask me how he called me because she won't tell me with a giggle.

Later she ended the call. I immediately called Ice and he said that what I am saying is impossible and that Nong'Tina got out of jail.

"Your younger sister called me. And I'm not mistaken that I'm talking to her," he told me that he will now go to the prison where Nong'Tina is. And he will just tell me.

It was midnight when Ice called me and said that Tina was still in jail and he showed me Nong'Tina's picture.

Maybe someone is pretending to be her younger sister, but I'm still not convinced that Tina didn't get out of jail.

The next day, Auntie Heart came with a gift for us. As I was about to leave, I saw my father bringing a covered painting for Auntie Heart. Of course, it's the painting of her in college. Auntie Heart is amazed when she sees it and flashbacks to my father frantically painting it right after coming back in the rain, as well as the moment when Auntie Heart first discovered it. my mother brings them tea. She says that she likes the painting and she thanked my father.

Maybe if Auntie Heart was the one my father stayed with, what would happen to Marvin and me?

When I get back to my photo studio, I see Tina next to an open bottle of alcohol I'm surprised how she entered my photo studio and it's obvious that she's drunk. I was about to call the police, but Tina says that she hasn't I haven't been drinking much. She does seem sober as she stares at the wedding invitation, and says she's doing better she then suggests that they get together for her father's birthday next week.

"P'Shan, you better not go ahead with your marriage. Don't try to call the police because I won't take my life if I'm not with you." she smiled at me while pointing a gun at me.

"You chose me last change. You were mine first before that gay man charmed you. He ruined our good relationship. Our happy ending." I couldn't move because of my shock because she would shoot the gun at me anytime.

"Put that gun down first, Nong'Tina," she shook her head and said that my answer to her question was wrong.

Suddenly she pointed the gun at her head while saying that she would kill herself in front of me if I didn't choose her.

She was hysterical and she felt guilty that it was my fault that she died. Because I didn't choose her.
