Chapter Twenty-Six: Gather My Tears.

(3rd POV)

Ice stops by a cliff to get it. Just as he is returning to the car, a truck rams into it and it falls off the cliff with a still-sleeping Marvin.

Ice visiting a comatose Marvin at the hospital. Marvin didn't know anyone else was alive besides him.

This is his way of protecting Marvin. He thought that when Marvin woke up, he wouldn't remember anything.

Tina's lawyer is told about the accident and she wants to visit Marvin because she was told that Marvin is dead and Ice confirms that. That made Tina happy. She tells them that it is a burner truck that crashed into Marvin, hinting that it is no accident. Turns out Ice and Tina planned the whole thing. Ice spikes Marvin's ice coffee so he falls asleep; the fake car breakdown; down and waits outside while the truck crashes into the car.

Months go by and Ice takes care of Marvin until he finally wakes up. But when he goes to him he gets scared. Along with a broken spine and leg that has left him paralyzed from the neck down, he has dissociative amnesia.

Back at home, Marvin looks blankly at the photographs of his fake wedding while Ice tries to jog his memory. he then makes a lavish meal but he refuses to eat. Every day he refuses to eat and Ice is at his wit's end. Ice goes through Marvin's things and remembers all the happy times they shared. He places them in front of him but he just blacks out after not eating for days. The doctor suggests that due to a sense of loss, such patients may lose the will to live. Ice is worried and he tries to force-feed Marvin while shouting at him. He finally speaks as he says being drunk will make him stupid.
he regrets it and starts crying as he wonders if this is why he hasn't been eating all these days. he says he can now eat all he wants and sleep whenever he wants. They tear up as he asks for forgiveness and says he did all that he won't be an idiot. He finally eats and he cries and hugs him.

Ice did everything for Marvin's recovery except to lose his anxiety.

What Marvin knows is that he grew up in a foster home because Ice told him that his name is not Marvin but Kit. What he knows is that Ice is his husband.

Shan attending Marvin's two-year memorial service, Shan breaks down as he recalls one of their last conversations. Shan refuses to believe Marvin is dead.

After Marvin passed away, Shan continued to live with his parents in their house. Although he was still struggling, he was able to smile and laugh with his friends and family again. Although he puts on a good front, inside he's still mourning and clinging to the tiny bit of hope that maybe Marvin, whose body was never found, is still alive. Little things, like his toothbrush that he still keeps by the sink, trigger vivid memories of his past.

"We thought my son got better," Singto said. "But..." One day, his younger sister opened the bathroom door to check on Shan. And his younger sister's screams.

His friends and Marvin's family visited Shan in the hospital, and the sight of him sleeping, his wrist all bandaged up, made them burst into tears.

Once Shan recovered and returned home, his friends started coming over to check on him. As well as Marvin's family. Shan gradually got better, but there was one change that the others had noticed. He started talking to Marvin as if he was still there. The others chose to let him be, and his parents figured it was because they were scared. They'd almost lost him, so one little change didn't seem like a big deal.

After seeing footage of himself talking to no one, he acknowledges the fact that he's enduring the ghost he's created to remember him. Only now, he sees this entity as a reminder that he misses him rather than the comfort he had before.

So Shan walks over to his parents and admits, "Mom, Dad, I'm having a hard time. Please hug me.” he doesn't have to tell them twice in fact, they'd been waiting for him to say those words for a long time.

Upon his parents' request, Shan visits a psychologist to discuss his grief. Sometime later, Shan has a terrible nightmare where Marvin's ghost tries to strangle him, angry that he's trying to move on from him. When he wakes up, he sees the ghost again and follows it down the street until he runs into Natalia.

Somewhere in Rayong province is bordered by Chonburi to its west and north; Chanthaburi to its east; and the Gulf of Thailand to its south, Marvin explains to some visitors that they're growing plants from when he gets a call from Ice. he tells him he's in the city for work, and he immediately asks if he has time to meet. Marvin tells him though that he has to go back home early to help his boss.

Later Marvin is preparing dinner, his eyesight starts to flicker and turn dark. Ice comes home and sees that dish Marvin left on the stove, and quickly turns it off. He notices that something's wrong with Marvin again, but Marvin says he's okay. Ice hesitates so he convinces Marvin to take another look.

Ice is not only his husband but also his doctor.

The sun is shining into the house the next morning, Marvin sleepily comes out and apologizes for not helping Ice with the dishes, but immediately retreats into their room he comes back out after putting on more clothes, and Marvin thanks Ice for the gifts yesterday.  As they walk to the shuttle stop, he offers Marvin tickets to a movie.  he tries to give them back to him, saying that it’ll be a waste since he might not have time, but he insists that he take them
