Chapter Twenty-Four: Even If.

3rd POV:

As Shan and Natalia get back to the cafe, Shan is surprised to see his parents there and runs off with Natalia. Singto sees Shan as well, but goes inside the cafe and is immediately greeted by Ice and Punpun.

Singto mentions that he saw Shan with Natalia. They then ask them if he wants to just wait for Shan to come back, and he accepts.

When Natalia and Shan talked about Gulf.

"Natalia, how is he?" Shan asked.

"He has been returned to jail and what you ordered them to do has been done. Don't worry, his suffering is not over yet, we will make him suffer even more," said Natalia.

"When will he disappear?" Natalia laughed.

"Soon we will have a different conversation, how are you?" Natalia asked and Shan said that he was busy with work.

"I'm glad that's why Marvin's doctor said that his condition has improved," that's good news for Shan that Marvin's recovery continues.

Shan then gets a call from Ice, telling him to come back to the cafe since his parents are there.

"Okay," replied Shan.

They returned to the cafe and Natalia paid her respects to Shan's parents.

Natalia also said goodbye to them.

Meanwhile, Tina reunites with Marvin and the Psychiatric hospital.

"Hey P'Marvin how are you?" he hugged Marvin and whispered something to Marvin then the Nurse calls Tina inside.

Marvin doesn't like Tina so he will be afraid of Tina.

Tina meets with the hospital's director and the director tells her about Marvin's condition because he said that Marvin is his best friend and he wants to help him recover and the other patients.

Later, Tina holds her first literature class with a  psychiatrist, with another caregiver keeping watch. She asks the patients what a fairy tale is, dismissing a man who answers “me marrying you. Seriously, she says that it's, "A cruel fantasy that illustrates the brutality and violence of this world paradoxically."

Marvin just glared at her. Marvin would rather have her in his room.

He wants to avoid Tina just so Tina always follows him.

He wanted to push her, but if he did that, he would be locked in a room by himself.

He doesn't understand why she pretends to be kind to other people except him who is simply hurting him.

He wants to report just so who will believe him that he is crazy.

Meanwhile, in the cafe, Shan tells his parents that he is okay.

"Son, take care of your health or you'll be the one to get sick," his father warned.

"Mom, I took care of my health, I was just too busy with my work," said Shan.

"Son, you're not doing anything to harm yourself, are you?" asked his mother.

"No, Mom, you know that I'm only at work and home, so I'm doing this for Marvin and I's future." when he convinced his mother.

"The suspect is in prison for kidnapping and raping Nong'Marvin. His sentence is life and the death penalty," Shan's father said.

In Psychiatric Hospital Marvin is gone, now hiding under a table in the kitchen.

He was still thinking about what Tina told him that it was his fault that he was here in the Psychiatric Hospital and that he was just a burden on his family above all, no one loved him anymore so he was exiled to the Psychiatric Hospital. His caretaker tries to lure Marvin out.

"No," he cried.

His caregiver informed him that he had been seen and that he was fine.

In the Gulf entering prison. He's stuck in a cell with a whole bunch of gangsters and unfortunately, is beaten down to the ground almost immediately. However, with the guard route, the beating stops for the time being. Their room is inspected, sending everyone outside while the cell is turned inside out.

Gulf heads out into the yard after, Unfortunately, he's taken away by one of the crooked guards who takes him straight to the kitchen where a whole bunch of inmates corners him. He begins to gang rape.

Meanwhile, Natalia is now talking to the Warden.

"Miss. Screaigh, we followed your orders," Natalia then gave the money to the warden.

"You still have a bonus as well as your staff because of the good performance you showed. I want you to continue treating the VIP until he dies," the warden gave a creepy smile.

My warden knows what VIP means, it's not good but it will make your life miserable according to the VIP treatment inside the prison.

Meanwhile, Tina arrived at Ice's house.

"P'Ice, I have good news for you," he said happily.

"Why can you look at my sin like that?" he just ignored his brother.

"I was invited to a
Psychiatric Hospital where P'Marvin is admitted," Ice already knew that Tina had a bad plan so he warned her.

"Even if I don't do anything, P'Shan will still be able to get in with P'Marvin's help," Ice grabbed Tina's arm.

"Stop and no matter what you do, Shan will not like you, and stay away from Marvin," Tina pushed him.

"I won't stop even if you stop me. Because P'Shan is only mine and I won't allow him to end up with that crazy person. Then from the beginning, P'Shan was mine," he couldn't believe it Ice in Tina's words.

"You're wrong, she's never yours and I won't let you like her even if you're a younger sister. I'll let our parents know what you did," Ice told Tina to leave his house.
